The Memphis play by play guy said Miami is being talked about for the 12th and final member for C-USA.
Talks are apparently going on now in Cincinnati. The Liberty Bowl
Director is there and the C-USA commish is up there too.
Several C-USA AD's are meeting.
What's the word?

It will never happen! Miami is way to smart to go to Convict USA. The Mid Am is about, class, quality, etc. all the things that college athletics should be about. Think about it, the MAC is on a upswing, and CUSA is on a downswing........and think about all the travel for the non revenue sports....it just doesn't make sense.
Bu the way, congrats go out to the Miami Hockey team, Blasi has the real deal there.

Agreed---> Miami moving to the CUSA would be a step DOWN in my opinion. The MAC is gaining confidence, publicity, and respect among other conferences. I'm not implying CUSA to be a bad conference, I'm just saying that they aren't as competitive as the MAC yet.
