The second of a 3 part series to see who we the fans think will win the East, West, and MAC Titles as it stands this Spring. The format is simple:

All East teams will be included in the East poll and all the West teams will be included in the West poll. Then, the two winners will be in the MAC Champion poll.

The East poll will be open for voting through Noon on Friday, tomorrow. The West poll will then be opened and will remain open for voting through Noon on Monday. Finally, the MAC Champion poll will be opened then and will remain open through Noon on Friday, April 9th.

You know I got that name when I joined one of the Herd boards (the old rivals) and some of the zealots accused me of being an 'eer fan because I hadn't been indoctrined yet. Of course I had just moved back from Alaska and wasn't aware of all the sensitive issues that the fans had endured in my absence. I didn't even know what the MAC was and college football was very hard to follow in Sitka (I spent most of my effort scrounging up info on 1-AA ball) I was getting hammered by everybody for everything I wrote. So I changed my name to MUther_may_I and the detractors, who started seeing me at practices and were thoroughly chagrined, started calling me MUther. I don't mind the name and it is kind of an opposite name like Tiny or Slim, because I don't exactly have a motherly aura about me. Some of those guys who wanted to hunt me down are now good friends, but when I introduced myself to them there was a good deal of apologizing for the mistaken identity. This is why I was so combative when I first joined the MAC boards. I had gotten nothing but crap from everyone for so long I was ready to kill anyone who wanted some. Most people that know me also know that I'm pretty easy going and generally polite despite my physical size...but if you ever call me Mom again :D


BTW I moved back here in 1999 (October) and arrived in WV jsut in time for the post game show after the drubbing of Toledo in Huntington that year. It was a long drive from Fairbanks.
