I never understood how people from Ohio can root against the Buckeyes when they play the other 2nd rate teams in the state....no offense intended.

But why the hatred for the Buckeyes? We are all Ohioans, we are all Buckeyes -- not Bearcats, Rockets, Golden Flashes, Bobcats, or anything else...We're ALL Buckeyes, you can deny it, but it's still true....don't be scared, join the winning side....trust me, it's more fun!

It's so sad.

This is like trying to convince a homosexual that sex with women is great....but yet they won't try. They're men, made for women....but they don't want anything to do with them.

Just like you're an Ohioan, made for the Buckeyes...

Dear disillusioned one,
It's very easy to root against your "worthless nuts". Especially after Woodrow did a :chair: on a young Clemson player and Cooper's record against my beloved Blue!!

Just because we have all decided to call Ohio home for whatever reason and forever how long, doesn't mean we have to root for, let alone care about those idiots from columbus.

As for your comment about "second rate", how lucky were you guys when you escaped on your home field with a win against the Orange and Brown? Remember....."the fumble that wasn't" and the dropped pass in the endzone?

LOL!!! I don't know about the game that you watched....but the one I watched had BG pulling some poo poo outof their butts just to make it close at about the 5:00 mark in the 4th.

The game was wrapped up and then you got some lucky bounces and an onside kick and then moved the ball against a prevent D until OSU tightened up....then it was lights out. I was never in doubt of the outcome.

It wasn't nearly as close as the score suggested.

It must be, and most of the idiots who agree with this guy's interpretation of the game in question, must be using it.

I will say it again, a dropped pass in the endzone and a "fumble that wasn't". A seven point win against a "second-rate" mid major by a so-called "national power" on your home turf is really something to hang your hat on, right?

Ohio State should have lost to BGSU last season, and in a way they lost that game - taken down to the wire with a "second rate" team as you call them.

Technically, unless somebody graduates from OSU THEN they can consider themselves Buckeyes.

BG had 366 yards in total offense against that great Buckeye defense. OSU only had 323 yards in total offense against that 2nd rate BG defense! 21 first downs for BG to 17 for OSU. Four turnovers by BG seemed to save the Buckeye from a loss. Thanks for posting that link for everyone to see Bucknut! 04-cheers

And that's the story of almost every game OSU has played the last couple seasons...outgained in total yards but win the turnover battle....in other words: Tressel ball.

OSU was up 24-7 with about 5:00 left...some prevent D and a couple lucky bounces made the score closer than anyone who watched would think it was.

And you're welcome! :D

What's with this idiot? He comes on here spewing crap and then asks why we don't support OSWho? How are your latest "arrested players" doing? How's your team's graduation rate? Can it compare with BG's over 70%?

OSU fans think they dominated BG last year but the last time I checked games were 60 minutes long, not 54. BG should have won that game. We know it, the Bux and their arrogant fans know it as well. I was there along with the other 8,000 BG fans and we stood toe to toe with the defending national champs on their turf...and had the ball on their side of the field with a chance to tie or win in the final seconds. Basically, after 59 min and 30 seconds, it was almost dead even. What game were you really watching that day? Remember the fumble at midfield with a minute left? Will Teague comes out of the pile with the ball but the BCS loving ref had already ruled the BUx had possesion...even before the whistle was blown. Like the elderly gentleman sitting next to me said as I protested the call like crazy..."Son, you ain't gonna get that call here!" And he was an OSU fan and knew what a crappy call that was.

No wonder I hate the Buckeyes anymore...most of their fans are like this choch nugget. And did you actually attend OSU? Hmmm? And I see you actually have to play some road games this year! What a change! LOL!

Second rate? You wish, rookie....I love these guys that scream "your team sux" and their team beats you by a td. What's that say for you? You must suk a little less?

F OSU and all your arrogant fans. BTW, when will you wussies play another team from Ohio in hoops???? Yeah, that's what I thought.

Dare I say it? Dare I wish for Marshall to beat OSU this year? I think so.

GO FALCONS!!!!!

"No offense intended"...

Then you flame away. Typical trash from Trash Talker U in Columbus.

Buddy, I am a Falcon and a Falcon ONLY. Blood is Orange and Brown....nothing more.
Get over yourself. Where did you earn your degree? Are you an OSU alum?

BOWLING GREEN STATE UNIVERSITY-----We don't take a backseat to anyone.

"Join the winning side"???? BG is 28-9 the last 3 years with a 3-1 record vs the mighty Big 10. 3-0 vs the mighty Big 12. And we actually play road games!

Get lost.

I don't have a degree, although I have taken a couple courses at Oklahoma and Arkansas...is it a new requirement that you must be an alumni to like college football and pull for a team?

From Marrietta to Cincy to Cleveland to Toledo to Youngstown and to even Bowling Green. We're all Buckeyes. 03-wink

Nope! So sorry but you're wrong again. Born and raised in Ohio but definitely NOT a Suckeye.
Not now, not ever. I like having a clean program....

"I don't have a degree, although I have taken a couple courses at Oklahoma and Arkansas...is it a new requirement that you must be an alumni to like college football and pull for a team?"

No, but I find it very comical when "Pseudo Buckeye fans", as I call them, put down other schools and they themselves never set foot on the OSU campus. I have friends here at work that went to Kent and Akron but root for OSU. They tried giving me grief after the BG/OSU game last year and I just laughed in their faces. Whatever....bottom line is I support my alma mater and no other. Understand now? Besides, we have a top 25 team ourselves and we don't have to pay $60 PER TICKET to see this team! LOL! Keep your overpriced product to yourself.

Is it a new requirement just because you're from the state of Ohio you must root for OSU? According to your logic, yes. Dumbest thing I've ever heard.

BTW, answer that question if you can....why won't ya play any other Ohio teams in hoops? I remember UT knocking you off a few years ago and lo and behold ya now schedule Dartmouth and Maryland-Baltimore Co.
Of course most Bux fans have no idea what's happening in any other sports but football.

People that are native to Ohio are Ohioans, not Buckeyes. Buckeyes are fans of OSU and little balls that grow on trees. Get it straight!

That's me.

But in my defense I still wouldn't follow basketball even if OSU made the final four or won the championship.

I would follow them in baseball too but the media doesn't cover college baseball very much at all.
