As I understand it, neither of you live in NW Ohio. :rolleyes: Shade, How would you rate the Blades coverage of the Rockets and Falcons compared to the Dispatch's coverage of the Buckeyes??? I mean if the Blade does a "very, very good job", I imagine that the words don't even exist for how you might describe the Dispatch's coverage of the Bucks.

Lets toss out some facts. I count 29 articles done on Buckeye football since August 1st (<a href='http://columbusdispatch.com/football/football.php' target='_blank'>link</a>),the Blade has done 3 articles on Toledo football (<a href='http://www.toledoblade.com/apps/pbcs.dll/section?Category=SPORTS11' target='_blank'>link</a>) and 1 on BG football since August 1st.(<a href='http://www.toledoblade.com/apps/pbcs.dll/section?Category=SPORTS03' target='_blank'>link</a>) Can you honestly say after reading that, that the Blade does a "very, very good job"? I think a more appropriate statement would be "the Blade does enough to get by".

The Blade's coverage of the Falcons and Rockets is at the most mediocre.During the season,daily columns for each of these area
programs should appear.Feature articles 3-5 times per week is not too much to ask especially after seeing years of the Canes,FSU,and UF in the Sun-Sentinel and the Miami Herald.
