I was digging around on the Plain Dealer web site and found the following preview from the Sports Network. It looks like it's about a week old. Not really any new information, but unlike some preseason previews it is decidedly upbeat about the team.

Thanks for the digging, Reno. I like the optimism, but it would be far more credible if the writer actually followed Kent State football. :crying: . Two players noted, Elijah Brooks and Tomas Rodriguez, are no longer on the team. Brooks transferred and Rodriquez has been dismissed. Finally, the Kent State reports indicate that Elam has won the starting job from Patrick.

Still agree with the bottom line.

If Kent is to establish a winning record this year, I believe the Flashes will need what Marty Schottenheimer once referred to as “the gleam.

FlashFan, I appreciate your concern but actually I am doing very well. I have been so preoccupied with my teaching duties that I have not had much time to post any messages on the board but I have had time to read most of the posts.

I am looking forward to the season to start but I am not expecting the Flashes to do much at Iowa, especially without Cribbs. If they can get out of Iowa City without any injuries and a respectable showing, I will be pleased.

All of the rest of the games are winnable and I believe the Flashes will win their share this year.

Can't wait until Homecoming. It should be an exciting time.

Go Flashes!!!

Glad you're back in time for kickoff, nashville.

There is another outlook for this year in the Stater , along with an article on the move in and efforts to get students to Dix.
