Nice try, mr propaganda ( you make Goebles look like a rookie) You German tag fits you.
Joe lives a good life beacuse Joe works his @ss of, went ot college and pays out of control taxes to fund your liberal programs.
To try and link all things that are good to liberals is laughable. If that was the case, how come this country continues to trend Republican/conservative. I guess we just don't appreciate all of the changes that you and your wacko buddies have forced on the rest of us.
I have 1 word to say to you, LOSER, You can continue to live in your bubble, oh by the way, congrats to Ohio for putting GW ovewr the top

You arrogant piece of work! How the PHUCK to you DARE to come off calling me a "typical teamster", or lazy, or pathetic, or a loafer? You have NO FREAKING IDEA what you're talking about, chump. I've worked harder most of my life simply by accident than you ever will on purpose. Any time you want to compare resumes for work experience, bring it. You want to talk about "typical"? How about STEREOTYPICAL. Jacka ss
And yeah, I'm sure this is against the AUP. This time, I don't give a damn.

There's a lot to be said for a solid work ethic. I learned it at a very young age, and I've taught it to my children, unlike so many parents today.
No one tried to link all things good to liberals. But not a SINGLE point Schadenfreude raised can be refuted. Not one.
The country continues to trend conservative for a couple of reasons. First, religion. There are literally millions of people who are single-issue voters. George passed the litmus test of being "born again". Second, as Nicholas Kristoff said in today's OpEd piece, "millions of farmers, factory workers and waitresses who ended up voting - utterly against their own interests - for Republican candidates....One of the Republican Party's major successes over the last few decades has been to persuade many of the working poor to vote for tax breaks for billionaires....Republicans have used "culturally powerful but content-free issues" to connect to ordinary voters.
To put it another way, Democrats peddle issues, and Republicans sell values. Consider the four G's: God, guns, gays and grizzlies..."
Enjoy the next 4 years. We're in for quite a ride.

Yeah, you hit a nerve alright. I strongly resent being categorized and stereotyped by anyone, especially some knucklehead I've never met. And you want the truth? For the first time in my life, I just might BE overpaid. But slacker? You haven't a clue son.

Simple - fear.
Pubs won by scaring the crap out of people, that...
-Terrorists will hit us and hit us big if Kerry is elected
-Gays will get married and ruin civilization if Kerry is elected
-You'll be taxed in the 95% tax bracket no matter what you make if Kerry is elected
-You won't be able to attend church and thump your bible if Kerry is elected
-They'll be killing babies for fun if Kerry is elected
You ignorant slut, you're the one that's bought into all the propaganda.

Well, now that I'm back from my 2 day self imposed cooling off period after the election.......I just want to say I am very disappointed in Ohio. From Seneca to Cuyahoga Falls as the old Pretenders song goes.......What in the %#%^$# are you guys thinking? What's it going to take 400K jobs lost? 500K? Obviously 250K wasn't enough to make people feel that a change was warranted. All I can say is that I'm very depressed about what happened. (Not that WV helped the cause any either though.......)
Well at least the MAC states of Ill., Mich. and NY were smart enough to vote Kerry.
I'm afraid WV is officially a long term red state now.......maybe Ohio as well.

If anyone wants to join the Kingbobian party in a grass roots action to nominate King Bob for Prez 2008.. listed below is the platform
1. Eliminate All taxes on beer and alcohol...
2. Eliminate ALL US Nuclear war heads by dropping them on the Middle east and N. Korea
3. Constitutional Amendment allowing Cigars anywhere
4. Eliminate all drunk driving laws
5. Mandatory laws.. all citizens MUST carry a gun... so, we can go back to duels
6. Capital Punishment for Murderes... Rapists and idiots (dems - libs)

Regular readers of MiamiHawktalk know that I discourage folks from coloring our sports discussions with politics. It's only fair to hold myself to the same rule I expect others to live by.

I also tend to avoid politics on these boards like the plague, but it's interesting to note that if Kerry had 150,000 more votes in Ohio he would've won the Electoral college with 272 while losing the popular vote by a pretty big margin of 3 MM votes.......just think what a stink that would've caused!
Speaking of Kerry, like him or not I gotta give him credit for conceding while Edwards and others wanted him to wait the 10 days to count all those disputed ballots in Ohio. I think he knew it was impossible for those ballots to be enough to turn Ohio around, but his decision to make it a clean ending was certainly noble.

I respect that. Unfortunately, I sometimes (okay, pretty often) allow myself to get baited into the fray. Guess we'll just have to see how this turns out 4 years from now.
