Originally hoping for 30K for game, now expecting 20K. 03-banghead

Not surprising though considering there has been very little advertising to push this game. Sometimes EMU is its own worst enemy, I swear!

With that anticipated attendance, we'll get a preview of what the MACC will look like.

Oh well, at least it'll be nice and comfy in there......much better than those poor souls (maybe up to a thousand of 'em all told) endured in the pouring rain at the UAB national TV game the other night.

We don't have local TV in Ann Arbor so there is no easy access to TV ads. But I've seen TV ads on Comcast Local and one of the Detroit stations, probably Ch. 50.

I disagree. NIU travels very well and I bet you bring about 8-10K if you are in the MACC. If Toledo or BG is in the MACC I would expect at least 10K from their fans. Then you will have people from Detroit........and the businesses in Detroit that bought tickets for their employees. If the EMU/CMU game gets 20K then the MACC should get at least 25K. And that is at least as good as you get when it was played at a host school.

I live perhaps 1/2 hour from Frod Field, and I've been seeing ads in the papers for two weeks, as well as hearing radio spots. It's been pretty-well advertised locally.

As for 20,000...since when is that a bad crowd for an EMU game? I assume that's based on tickets sold only, and I'd anticipate some walk-ups.

BTW, HD, I just bought tickets, and I'll be in section 130.

Frankly, I'm going to be disappointed if there aren't at least 20,000 CMU fans at Ford Field. Considering....

The number of alums in the Detroit metro area.
The number of students in the same area, most of whom have no problem going home for the weekend.
The number of fans and alums throughout Michigan will should be excited to see CMU play in such a great facility.

Okay, it appears that I have missed the ads. Glad to hear from others that the game is being advertised.

CMF...great to hear you will be there. We'll be there too, in Section 105, Row 33. Let's hope we get a good turnout.

I would be there, but I have athletes-foot-in-the-******. Which athlete, you may ask? I don't know, but I think it's a track star. :D
