I got to watch quite a bit of the 2nd half of the game last night...pretty entertaining with two good offenses and a couple of defenses that either didn't show up or just couldn't cope with the superiority of the offenses. Kind of reminded me of our game against UL in the GMAC last year.....they had a good offense then, but no "D". Not sure that has changed much other than their QB and offense is better this year.

P.S. Uh, I meant "last NIGHT", not "last year'. I should type early in the morning! :D

You forgot to mention that 52,384 people attended this C-USA game.

Actually, I didn't know the attendance figure, but the stadium was pretty full (and it's a big stadium). But, I enjoyed watching the game, C-USA or not.

03-banghead Attendance last night Memphis Lousville perfect example of why Marshall is leaving the MAC play in front of 50,000 or 10,000!!! Let me see I think I would rather play in front of the 50,000. Go Herd!

You didn't know the attendance of the UAB game either, but you couldn't wait to comment on that. Just thought it was kind of humorous.

Yeah, and I guess I could've not made a complimentary remark about the game, either, I guess. Doesn't pay to say much of anything positive with you around HerdFan4Life.....you're always looking for a negative when none is intended. As, as for the UAB game, I criticized the concept of the 15K rule and how mid-week ESPN games (and in this case bad weather) affects the attendance outcome.....don't recall slamming UAB in the process.

That's like the pot calling the kettle black. And, I couldn't care less what you think of me.

Look at my initial post, HerdFan4Life.....it was an innocent remark on enjoying a football game on the tube last night..........you took it from there. And when I said I thought you were looking for negatives where none where intended, I don't think of that as a personal attack. If you think it is, so be it.

You mentioned the UAB attendance but didn't mention attendance when discussing the Memphis game. I thought that was humorous & I pointed that out. If you don't like that...so be it.

OK, I guess we'll killed this thread to death.......I'll be careful not to endorse my watching of a C-USA game ever again without checking the box score for the attendance....I promise! :D

Thanks! That was an incredibly fun game to be at. I still don't have a voice! It's a shame we lost, but it was a good game. Scratch that...it was a great game!

I know this is the wrong board, but I'm sad our rivalry with Louisville will be coming to a close, although I think we'll still meet OOC in basketball every year.
