It's time to leave. I will always remember the little wins u gave us, but you could never bring home the big win for us.

Josh Haldi racked up a stellar career in an NIU uniform. Josh Haldi is soon to graduate summa *** laude with an accounting degree from one of the nation's top 10 accounting departments. Josh Haldi will most likely go on to capitalize on his football stardom and tremendous academic accomplishments to have an amazingly successful business career. Josh Haldi, when all is said and done, will probably go down in the annals of NIU has one of its greatest and most productive graduates ever.
You? A two-bit loser who converted his NIU degree into a career in professional gambling.

I agree. I also have to say, can this run oriented offense WIN a MAC championship against the top of the MAC? I have a feeling after the last several years, the answer is no. We are going to have to make changes. As much as I enjoy the old fashioned grind it out game, it just doesn't work well enough in THIS conference. Now, we need to talk about the defense. They didn't play well BUT I think the defensive scheme was good. We should have tried more pressure and less falling back to cover the recievers. It was obvious we couldn't cover them so why not at least try to stop one part of their offense-the short game and hope they don't burn you long.

alum - you should talk. You're a professional pessimist.
Josh Haldi does deserve more respect than this. He had a bad game, but I didn't count too many out there today that had good games.

The D this year has blitzed less than past years because blitzing puts in you vulnerable positions - they've tried to limit those vulnerable positions. It worked against BG, when they tackled better. IMO, we have to control the running game better to make it work properly.
Keep in mind, we had a 60 yard pass to a wide open WR that would have put us up 7 and put the pressure back on UT to keep up. That changed the game entirely. Haldi threw it hard and Sheldon slowed up - even my neutral buddy that watched the game across town saw that.

Gambler, Dan and Robert the donut shop owner. Boy, now there is a trifecta of college football knowledge. You three doorknobs know about as much about college football and offensive and defensive strategies as Yassir Arafat does sitting in a coma. The charade is up boys.

actually my good man i turned my degree into a super successful career in real estate, where i am now partially retired, well under 40, and RICH.
Hmmmmm i guess you can try to rip on me, but....I don't think you can! :ownd:
I loved josh as a qb, but i think it's maybe time for a change, the things josh has done are really wonderful, but i'm ready for our new qb to start up next year see if he can move a step past josh.

You've shown to not know jack yourself, and don't believe that NIU can ever amount to anything, so exactly how do you offer us anything?

THats nice but yours was up a VERY long time before mine was.
Donut shop owner? WTF?
I think you need to go golfing with your "insider" buddy to find out how we can find an offense and defense that will work well enough to actually win the MAC.
P.S. Hows that AVC coming along? Will it be built in time to save our football program from the slide back down to an average MAC team? Oh, wait, it won't do $hit for the football team and keep people coming back to DeKalb
At least the b-ball team squeaked by IIT. We gave up 50 points to them? I wasn't even aware they even had a b-ball team.

Yep - you've been outted as the full of ****** hater that you are. Most of us already knew it, and yet you still decided to prove to any doubters out there. You're extremely predictable.
Next there will be a post about how the football facility isn't what the NIU alums want because Michael Malone can't sell it.

Lets think about this...
Haldi helped turn the corner to be respectable in this conference when he became the starter.
Maybe the next new QB will take us to "the next level".
Just a thought. GO HUSKIES!!!!
