Well, CMU, like EMU (lost 69-17 at Kent  ) apparently had no energy to play this week after last week's quadruple-OT affair. We came in injured, came out flat, and surrendered 28 points in the second quarter. The team played with more energy in the second half but it was too little, too late as a suddenly-confident Buffalo squad took advantage of our injuries on the OL and at WR to register eight sacks and hold us to six points on several trips to the red zone. CMU was also without defensive and special-teams star James King, due to a NFR matter. This was not a game we should have lost, but hats off to Buffalo for playing hard and getting the win.
