Spread the word... Click this link <a href='http://www.star.niu.edu/articles/?id=1899' target='_blank'>http://www.star.niu.edu/articles/?id=1899</a>

to read the Star article - you have to scroll down to the last paragraph. This is a great promotion - I wish the University were doing a better job of getting the word out. Great opportunity to do something fun with the family for little cost. I am trying to get 2 or 3 car loads of Jr. High and High School kids from my church youth group and make the game. I took three of them to the Toledo football game and they had a blast (despite the loss).

Please share some ideas about how to spread the word about this and help boost attendance.

If NIU athletic dept. were smart, they would call every athletic director at every high school within a 30 mile radius and encourage them to fill a bus and travel to DeKalb for the game... Any other thoughts? 03-banghead

I bought tickets for my own business and they will be given to kids organization. Even just $50 buys 50 tickets.

It's a great idea. I'm bringing my wife and three kids. Not a bad deal considering my kids will consume alot of food at that price.

I received an e-mail from Todd Garzelli in NIU Athletics Marketing this morning about the promotion.

Why haven't these people moved the start time for this game up. Most people get out of work early on this day and would more likely come with their family. A 6:30 start would have done it for me to get the wife and kids to he game.
