This was a great game.....a classic. I know it wasn't the outcome you guys wanted, but it was very exciting.


Your fans (pretty good numbers I must say) were loud and great. They were very respectful, even when winning 27-7 at halftime. BG is our rivalry and our games can get heated, but your fans were class acts tonight....in both while winning big and in defeat at the end. You should be proud of your fans and your team.

As much as it pains me to say it, I don't want to play against Omar Jacobs in BG next year. He is a heck of a player and your whole team is very talented and never gave up. That really tells you something about their character. I am sure you will get a bowl bid.........Good Luck!

I have to agree here. I know everyone was talking a lot of smack in weeks past. It was very classy of you guys to come in to the Glass Bowl as true fans and just enjoy the game. Well played boys and girls, good luck in your bowl game. We'll see you next year at the Doyt!

Seriously, I met TJ rocket after the game and he was very cool. He came up and asked if I was Falconfreak and I said yes. He got a big ole grin and extened his hand and said "I'm TJ". Man, i was like not now!! But it was cool. He didn't talk smack, just said what a great game between two solid teams. We rapped for a while and then went separate ways.

I know we despise each other but yet I didn't hear any obscene language last night sitting in Sec 22...right next to one of the UT student sections. Sure there was the usual ribbing and back and forth stuff but nothing out of line. And I've been to the Glass Bowl the last 3 BG/UT games (although I am considering not going in 2006!..KJ ) and it's always that way. We both have idiot fans but I don't see a big # of jackazzes on either side. That tells me even though we despise each other, the respect is also there.
If you guys beat Miami, we'll each have 10 MAC titles. That's what makes a great rivalry. Both teams are solid and win half the time. I think in the last 36 games, each side has won 18.

Good luck at Ford Field and in your bowl game. I just hope BG can land a bid somewhere.

Congrats on a great comeback win. 36-29-4....pretty even series if you ask me.
