Most should say that UA is indeed very lucky to only lose 4 scholarships (3 in football, 1 in hoops), and that they dodged a major bullet.
What I think is a shame though is that the school has to pay for this because a rogue booster couldn't handle himself. Unlike Alabama, where coaches knew what was going on, the entire University was unaware of the actions of the booster. That fact is even mentioned by the NCAA Enforcement Committee, which agreed that neither Coach Broyles nor any coach at the University of Arkansas was guilty of any wrongdoing. That might be the major reason as to why the UA isn't getting harsh penalties, but they're doing it by settling (saying that they committed a major violation) and are being punished for one booster's job.
This is one reason why the SEC is so probation-ridden. Boosters are so prideful and desperate to win, they give too much. The problem is when schools are punished b/c they didn't know what was going on. Now ADs and colleges must watchdog fans as well as players.
Things get tougher and tougher.
