Here's a look at the first schedule for new baseball coach Dave Van Horn and the Arkansas Razorbacks.

A bigger influence on Midwest teams is obvious, as Creighton comes in, plus 2 games with Kansas and a 4 game series with Kansas State. Some of the traditional teams, though, like SMS and Eastern Illinois are there, along with the traditional opener against Missouri Southern.

2003 can you believe it's almost here?
Wow, I can't wait! May 1, 2003 awesome...May 10 the ultimate day of my life!

It's not too bad a schedule in my opinion.

His connections are obvious (the series with Creighton), and what's really surprising is the Kansas games.. 4 against K-State, 2 against Kansas, and 1 against Wichita State.

The road games at Centenary should be good for us, giving us road experience in a really unhositle environment.

All in all, Van Horn should do quite well here.
