He-he.
That would be conjecture, I suppose.
I was not thinking the 'color' but the 'fruit' just to tie it into the person who started this thread. I suppose I could have used any form of the nut family as well.

Thats not true. Kids who can't get into Miami are going to Ohio State.

That's not the first line. Right at the top, it says "tear along perforations."

If I might help here, I don't think his problem is that his degree is from OU.
It's that yours is.

Word is contract being finalized, Solich is in...old news for folks in Athens and many on this board, but I think that with Solich coming to Athens the Miami OU rivalry will grow once again...
Though Akron wants a handful of feathers for their caps for sure now...
MAC respect in the NFL is on the up and up and up and up... Besides the QB's there's Taylor, Bell (ROTY Lineman for sure!), and many others...Gates too from KENT...
I wouldn't be surprised to see Danny Horace from Miami make it in the NFL too next year as a TE or WR.
Frye will be excellent...
Now Josh Harris is one injury (or bad series or two ) away from a NFL start or back up with the Browns...I may hate the Browns (Mostly because of their owners and the other 90% for the way Davis treated Prentice)...
This is good...MAC rivalries aside (even Marshall) we need to support our MAC bretheren in the NFL and keep a watch on them...
We do this in the "Paid for Play" section of MHT.com...
Nice to get updates from player's families, wives and of course the players too...former and current no matter what they are doing.
SO back on subject...what does a HIGH PROFILE Coach like Solich bring to Athens?
1- National spotlight.
2- Winning tradition.
3- Tons of Experience.
4- Attention from Nebraska Fans.
5- Instant Respect- earned or not- that coach's name alone will make folks stand up and look to Athens for news, and that means more attention for the MAC.
What does this bring ot the rest of the MAC? All of the Above, as Ohio is the Flagship of the MAC good or bad teams on the field, when the MAC Teams face them (OU) on the field the spotlight will be there again. When OU faces the nation in OOC, the spotlight will be there...
This is good.

You're missing the point mates,
"Flagship" in this case doesn't necessarily mean the best school, just that OU is the First MAC School and organized the whole shebang...OU put the MAC together...hence they are the "Flagship" of the MAC.
That's all...anything else you construe is your own problem.
So no error on my part.
Just a perception problem amongst our posters who can't recognize history and confuse it with current standings in our confernce...that or they got their tongues firmly stuck in their cheeks...which cheeks isn't for me to say...infer at will here ladds. :D

Ok, I can live with that.
I'd say the flag was transferred to a ship with far fewer holes and much more fuel a long time ago.

Well that narrows it down to a choice of 11.
