Your conference champ just got destroyed by CUSA's 4th best team.

You must be proud.
While it is a blemish against the Sun Belt, Southern Miss is hardly a mediocre CUSA team.

Does is not strike you as odd that Southern Miss was the first non-BC$ team to beat Nebraska since Houston did it in the 1980 Cotton Bowl?

It was also Nebraska's first home loss since losing to Air Force in 1963.

North Texas didn't lose to CUSA's fourth best team, because in that conference the balance of power is equal all the way around. Believe you me, Southern Miss THIS YEAR ESPECIALLY could wipe the floor with any MAC school including Toledo, Bowling Green, or Miami of Ohio. You just be very thankful you didn't draw Southern Miss in a bowl game.

BTW, good luck next year in CUSA. Even though South Florida, Louisville, Cincinninati, and TCU will be headed to higher grounds both figurately and literally (in TCU's case) that conference will be strong still because of the reign of Southern Miss. You can badmouth North Texas and even cut Southern Miss down because of their going to the New Orleans Bowl. But as your CUSA years go by, you'll be the one's wondering what in the heck it will take for your team to beat Southern Miss.

Central Florida could never win the MAC. CUSA will be much tougher to win because of Southern Miss and even the fraudulent George O'Leary won't be able to deliver recruits to Orlando enough to beat the Golden Eagles all that often.

Just think, a UB basketball victory over Penn State later this month would mean that the MAC owns the Big Ten!! Bring on Illinois, Baby! 04-rock
Uhhh. . . . .what? I didn't say the Sun Belt was better than Power $ix leagues even though we have some nice wins over them in basketball. BTW, Florida International also defeated Florida State.

But good luck Buffalo against Penn State.

See you in 2007. Maybe George O'Leary will have recruited enough thugs to make you decent like the days of Daunte. One thing he can't lie about on his resume is that he went winless at UCF in his first year there, produced the "U Can't Finish" Golden Knights their second winless season in history and was the only winless team in all Division 1-A in 2004!! That will be forever on HIS coaching resume! Tell George not to try to lie about that!!!! We know!

Once again, not one thing you just said had any form of intelligence in it.

His resume also has "National Coach of the Year" next to it.

Finally, I'd rather have ONE winless season in favor of building a great program than have a program stuck in mediocracy and insignificance such as MTSU.

I'd say a good sign of how bad your program is that you have a picture of another team in your signature after BEATING your beloved Raiders.

Our Knights already know the feeling, as we put the beatdown on the sissy MTSU boys in 99.

He kicked all the thugs and those not willing to work hard, off the team, which is why they didn't have a good year, you moron.

Or so it should seem. Maybe the real reason why UCF was bad is because they are bad. Ever wonder why the Big East selected South Florida over Central Florida while USF had only played four seasons of 1-A football compared with UCF who'd be in 1-A a little longer?

The Knight Time can reminisce on ancient history in a game where they really didn't beat us convincingly considering we were a transitional 1-A team in 1999. 37-14 isn't convincing Knight Time, not against a first year 1-A team compared to a 1-A team that had been there a while. You need to talk to Arkansas fans. They will let you know what a convincing win over a first year 1-A MTSU team is like.

For The Knight Time:
I hope you aren't trying to measure all of Middle Tennessee football compared to one game against your Knights. Come 2007, we will certainly shut you up unless your chicken sh!t adminstration backs out of their game with us. We shall see just how "established" Central Florida is in CUSA under O'Leary when that time comes. You sure do put alot of stock in a person who has to lie about himself as George O'Leary did to Notre Dame. O'Leary doesn't even know who he is, how do you know he's capable of delivering the Golden Knights more winning records like you say.

So, you are fine with one winless season than several in mediocrity? You haven't seen O'Leary's work yet. What if he produces another season similar to the one you had this year? And then another? And then another? You say it won't happen, but how in the hell do you know that? Well, we'll see. We'll see.

Maybe the reason why I like that photo is. . . .

. . .because Sun Belt schools stick together and we respect each other. Unfortunately, Central Florida can't say that regarding MAC schools.

. . .because that trophy, The Palladium trophy, was part of a vision that I and several others had that brought forth a grassroots effort spearheaded by many of us fans from both schools to bring Troy and Middle Tennessee back together in the form of an annual rivalry to build on the past the two schools already shared.

. . .because the Palladium trophy, is one woman's victory--the woodcarver from Maine who spent six months of painstaking work to make a log into that statue which is currently valued at $1,500 and will increase in value with age.

I hope that answers your question, Knight Time. Sometimes the athletic department needs ambitious fans with vision to be proactive toward the goals of the university. That is what you see in that photo. BTW, 18,000+ fans attended that game at Troy even though it was in a monsoon.

I think 18,000 is pretty damn good, Knight Time. It was raining like a monsoon. And by the way, that trophy made it's DEBUT that weekend and was completed only two weeks before the game! Also, neither athletic department knew about this. They only went along with it when we all along with the two school's SGA's pushed them into it. Believe you me, the days of playing Tennessee State and Jacksonville State are gone for Middle Tennessee and Troy. That's why our creating this rivalry game with this trophy is necessary.

You Central Florida fans should try to do the same. Maybe you can keep fans in the stands even when you suck. Apparently that wasn't the case on a sunshiny day in Orlando right before the Knights were about to cap off a winless season against Kent State.

And Troy is so much smaller than Orlando. Hell, even the largest city closest to Troy, Montgomery, is smaller than Orlando. Thank God those West Virginia fans brought their 25,000 from Morgantown to compliment UCF's 32,000 that day earlier in the year or else UCF would also be wondering why in the hell they didn't average 15,000.

For shame. And UCF plays in a much larger market and in a much larger stadium than any of the Sun Belt schools.

Oh, so now you were at the WVU game? They brough 2K tops, if even that.

And if you weren't so fu*king ignorant you'd realize that most people were still picking up their houses or getting water out of the living rooms the weekend before the WVU game, which means 32K is damn good and much more than the lowly MTSU ******* will ever get.

UCF has had crowds of 60K, 52K, and 48K. When's the last time MTSU drew that?

You're an idiot.

With an average attendance of 13388 it looks like the only thing MTSU is drawing are flies.

UCF, you're the worst of the MAC, your team couldn't even beat OHIO in overtime. You lost everygame this year. Not to mention, since you lost every game, now you are disrespecting the SunBelt, c'mon get some class.

Just like your promised Southern Miss would be dominated by the superior UNT team. :snore:

You're the most ignorant person I've ever met, honestly. "Resume faking liar"? Is that the best you can keep coming up with?

Oh, and just for the record.
