Im Glad to see the success of the teams and congrats to ksu, you have a sweet team.
I am pissed though that UB is getting screwed. a (5-2) record with our only losses to the defending National champs and defending MAC champs. We beat (at the time) the number 19 team in the poll Niagara. Im not saying we should be like 10 or anything but at least crack the top 25.

Toledo has the 11th toughest schedule in the country. I am sure they are factoring that in with the preseason hype to win the MAC Title they got.

UB may be 5-2 but both of the losses were blowouts and 3 of the wins were in overtime.
I (naively) thought they would start the season the way they finished last year, I guess that's why they play the game.
One game at a time. Let's beat Canisius! I thought they totally su**ed, but they played Niagara and EMU a lot closer than I thought. Could be too close for comfort in their high school gym.

has Toledo with the 5th toughest schedule so far.
I think Toledo has played a tough schedule. But they have also played a tough schedule miserably.

How is Buffalo doing?
They looked great last season.
Weren't the the favorite in the East?
I don't really follow basketball but I would love to see Buffalo excel in something athletically and raise its profile and with it the MAC's in NY state.

Toledo looks like it stinks in men's basketball this season. No insde presence but usually that doesn't matter too much in MAC conference play, its a guards league. But teams with studs inside do tear this conference up!
Maybe without a MAC title and NCAA berth Joplin is on his way out. You need to perform when you are supposed to.
Getting into MAC play will be big for him and the Rockets.

I think people have answered this for me, but here is where I got it from:

college rpi.com--KSU 8th, UT 99th in SOS
Sagarin--KSU 22nd, UT 11th.
UT has played some good teams. Except for Duke, the schedule looked tougher than it has turned out to be, but you can't predict that befoe the season starts. However you look at it, the Rockets have at least one of the strongest OOC scheds in the MAC this year.
I know you keep saying this, and I know Toledo hasn't played well....but you are looking at this the wrong way. You need to put on your midnight blue and gold colored glasses and then you will see this:
4 of our 5 games have been on the road. We won the only home game.
Our opponents have a combined record of 37-23.
We also play Auburn (6-3) in the San Juan Shootout in the coming days.

Dude, I think Auburn is the least of your concerns.
Middle Tennessee St. is gunning for you.

I never said Auburn or MTSU was a concern. It is flattering that MTSU considers us such a big game though.
