May I say that I wouldn't have it any other way?
Shopping for 2 cousins, 2 friends, and a very deserving mother doesn't leave me much time to answer MAC trivia in a span of 3 mintues, sir.....
A self-appointed MAC historian shouldn't need time to Google the answers to those questions. My guess (and point) is that the majority of posters here can answer at least two of those correctly off of the top of their heads.
Don't talk about what you don't know.
Oh, and a very sincere Merry Christmas to you and yours.

I'm not a historian, but I'll say Kent's elite 8 appearance was the futhest a team has got in the NCAA's. I'll say 35-0 is a win streak of a team long long ago?

At least try to win your Division or something before you spout off. Sorry we didn't live up to the high standards that NIU has set here in the mighty mac....or did we?

Quote:As poorly as Marshall has played in some games over the past couple of seasons, that was the worst I have seen.
This year's Herd squad was the worst since the late 80's. :( It has been a season of frustration. Although we beat all MAC teams except for Akron, we won by the skin of our teeth.
The only bright side is that we return an expereinced O-line, two great RBs, young but extremely talented WRs and a new QB. . . we'll see? :noel:

You forgot about the pretty good beating you took at the hands of BG.

Is that last "s" a typo? Or did you write "Marshall" when you meant to type "Miami?"

Didn't you hear the news?? Middle Tennessee State and Ohio's flagship team are also going to C-USA and are supposed to battle it out each year...just between the 2 of them. No chance for any other team to win the their conference.

The last two years have been very painful to watch Herd football. The team attitude has been horrible the last several years(with the exception of a few players)I told my wife when the team took the field, we were going to lose.We had 25 seniors on the field that looked like they would rather be playing with themselves than the game of football. These seniors seem to be riding the coat tails of past Marshall greats rather than concentrating on the game itself.
Good luck to Toledo and NIU in your bowl games.
Go Cyclones
Finally a herd fan that makes sense.
