Hello, my name is Redwing T., and I am an illegal driver. I was charged with speeding two times when I was in college. I was also pulled over once and interrogated because someone called the police when I was waiting in the parking lot of an apartment complex for my friend to get out of high school. They thought I was casing the place or something. The officer also asked if I my power booster for my stereo was a scanner as they had tried to catch me in the act on previous days and I was always gone when an officer arrived. I was not charged.
I feel that I am progressing nicely in the twelve step process to becoming an excellent driver.
For others who want to join this new support group and confess their transgressions, here is the twelve step process which you will need to complete:
Step One: "Admit we were powerless over breaking traffic laws - that our bad driving habits had become unmanageable."
Step Two: "Came to believe that only a Power as great as Ranger R. could restore us to sanity."
Step Three: "Made a decision to turn over our will and our lives to the care of Ranger R. as we understood him."
Step Four: "Succumb to a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves by Ranger R."
Step Five: "Admitted to Ranger R, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our illegal driving."
Step Six: "Were entirely ready to have Ranger R. remove all these defects of character."
Step Seven: "Humbly asked Ranger R. to remove our shortcomings."
Step Eight: "Made a list of all persons we had offended with our illegal driving activities, and became willing to make amends to Ranger R. for them all."
Step Nine: "Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or Ranger R."
Step Ten: "Continued to take personal inventory and when we were guilty of more illegal driving activities, promptly admitted them to Ranger R.
Step Eleven: "Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscience contact with Ranger R. as we understood him, praying only for knowledge of his will for us and the power to carry that out.
Step Twelve: "Having had a spiritual awakening as a result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to other bad drivers, and to practice these principles in all our affairs."

Maybe the problem is that you never said how long you stayed in the apartment parking lot for you friend to get out of high school. Maybe the friend was only a sophmore. If that is the case, that is a long time to occupy space in a private parking lot. I would call the police also.
