If you live a distance from the M.A.C.C., viewing parties offer the opportunity to watch a Flashes game with like minded KSU fans . A whole series is planned for the Akron game...so if you live in Los Angeles, Los Vegas, Columbus or Tampa you might want to check it out. Most of the time they are free, or a very modest charge to cover expenses. And how many times can you go to a sports bar with your Flashes gear and not be alone? More information is available on the Alumni Association site.

For bopal, blueflash and other Windy City Flashes... the Chicago alumni are going to get together to watch the Bracket Buster game. We've booked the Cubby Bear ( on Addison across from the Friendly Confines). This time, we'll be in the Upper Deck Room, one half flight up from the Wrigley Room we were in last year. Of course, we don't know the time as of yet. You should have already recieved an e-mail on this and more will follow once the TV details are available. If you don't get any info, check the Alumni site or send me a PM here. We will have no or a very small cover charge, but the Cubby Bear will be happy to take your money for personal beverages and food. Everyone is welcome...even the guy who kept asking me to put on the OSU game last year - during an Akron- KSU battle none the less! You are welcome, too, but once again all dozen TV's will be tuned to the Flashes.

Lake County, Greek and Honors alumns get the best deal with an invitation to the Flashes- BG game including a pre game reception in the Blue and Gold Lodge (which is actually quite nice if you've ever been curious. I don't think you have to be a member, but have to register for crowd control purposes.) Call the Alumni Association if you are interested.

Blue and Gold everywhere. What a country!
