Although we had some key miscues late in the game, I feel darned bad for the kids. They played well enough to win and they really needed this game and Miami could have survived with a loss. I guess it's a good life lesson, though. Things don't always go your way. I would rather we get tougher from this and things go our way in Cleveland.

those 3 officials are Big Ten refs....i have no idea what they were doing in Toledo....

I know they are Big Ten refs because they go to the Big Ten reffing camps...talk to them all...the one guy is from Cincy

I have been to about 4 games where the officiating was so bad I felt embarrassed to be in the MAC.

I have seen about 3 Miami games this year, and in all of the games it was lopsided officiating in favor of the Redhawks.

The UT BG game tonight was some of the worst officiating I have ever seen. The Rockets won so I can’t complain that much though.

Fire all MAC refs and replace them

Wow I just saw the replay and a freeze-frame of it. It is blatantly obvious that the shot was not off in time.

Unfortunately, the official does not have the luxury of freeze frame when the game isn't on TV. I'm not saying the officials we have calling our games are the cream of the crop, and there is an officiating issue in conference games, but photographic evidence means nothing if the official making the call can't use it.

As for the UT fan complaining about Miami getting "all" the calls, that's just crap. We've been receiving AT LEAST our fair share of poor calls -- just as much as anyone else -- this season. The first 33 minutes of our game with UB alone saw UB able to get away with murder while Miami was whistled for everything. Hell, in one sequence Bortz was going for the ball when Danny Horace was trying to drive on him, and when he couldn't get the ball, he PULLED Danny on top of him...and the official called Danny for the foul.

Again, not that it matters. Ruling on the court stands and nothing changes that. Just frustrating... I'm sure many of you can relate, esp. this year...
