From the Ledger:

"Ole Miss lost three key players to injuries in the first half of Saturday's game. Starting center Ben Claxton suffered a right knee sprain, starting defensive end Josh Cooper left with a hip pointer and backup safety Marcus Woodson was sidelined with a knee injury. Starting defensive tackle Yahrek Johnson was added to the list when he injured an ankle in the third quarter."

They don't tell us how severe these injuries are, but I'm pretty sure Ben won't be back. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="frown.gif" />

Also, Eddie Strong, they say, still needs a couple of more weeks to heal. So, don't look for him to play at Tech Saturday.

That's all I could find, LRRebel! Sorry, I know it's vague. Wish I knew more.

Thanks 10man, I looked around on a few websites and couldn't turn much up. And finding Reb news over here is hopeless. We have a weekly full page writeup in the paper on the SEC teams. Year after year it seems the writer would rather take a beating than report on OM. He gives several inches to Vandy, SC. etc and we're lucky to get a scant mention. We're next door and get very little coverage, while a team in another freaking timezone warrants a much bigger writeup. I've been tempted to call him out on it, but I'm not positive whether it's all him, or is OM not sending him comparable press releases?
Anyway, thanks for the news. Let's hope the collective injuries aren't too bad.
