What are you talking about? We did turn the corner. The only problem was we went down the wrong way of a one-way street and slammed into a semi. :D

That's one bus ride I wouldn't want to be on or is Coach C going to make them run back or push the bus back. They may get lucky and only have to practice when they get back...
Question is, which team shows up on Sat.?

Wow that was a butt kicking. This team is so inconsistent. I just don't understand these periods when they go stone cold and get themselves down by 10-15 points. Going into the year I thought that between Crenshaw, Youngblood, Edwin and Gates we would be able to shoot the ball somewhat consistently. Tonight it sounded like nobody wanted to shoot it.
I really feel sorry for axeme he had to see this pile in person. I just hope thay got it out of their system. Oh and Meechie good game but spend all your spare time in the offseason practicing free throws.

No one to blame but ourselves. We sure got it handed to us. With a big bow on it.
I thought about axeme and delflash, too. No reports on fans in glod shirts with bags over their heads during ther second half.
The only good thing is that we can't be this bad on Saturday. I hope it's not possible.

11 points in the 1st half? I'm glad I wasn't home to listen to this game.

On to brighter subjects, loft. How's baseball coming along? Maybe since you follow the Flashes, we can follow you.
Think about the Flashes as a college baseball program. You'll play in a brand new stadium, follow in the footsteps of Steve Stone (Cy Young and AL MVP) Thurman Munson ( Yankees fans know him), and more recently Dustin Hermanson (who makes me be sort of a Sox fan this year) and star to be Jon Van Benschoten of the Pirates. Plus, we'll pull for you! What more could a kid from NY want?

Baseball is going good. Our team has had a total of over 80 wins and 5 losses over 4 seasons so I'd say we are pretty good. I've never really checked out Kent State Baseball but I will see how the program is.

What a wasted trip. The Flashes were completely dominated from the opening tip. Being at a road game when your team is down, say 33-4, is a sickening feeling. There was absolutely nothing to cheer about.
Like everyone, I am extremely puzzled. I was sure that Kent had turned the corner and was ready for a strong stretch run. How do we not show up when there is so much on the line? I heard Charlie Coles on the radio before the game say that Kent (along with Buffalo) has the best collection of talent in the MAC but is not the best team. We certainly proved his latter point last night.

Sorry you had to see that, delflash.
As many of you know, I've been a big supporter of J.C. and continue to be. But part of last night has to be laid at his feet. Losing is one thing. But to show up for the biggest game of the year just completely unable to compete is another.
I still think that "this biggest collection of talent" in the MAC can gell into a team.
