Quote:Bowling Green State University’s doctoral program in industrial/organizational psychology has a reputation—and it’s the kind that every academic program would like to have.

Actually, this is my field. I do practice within a corporation, manage a staff of six full time I/O's and hire one or two every year. In the real world, the I/O PhDs with the most prestige are from 1) Columbia University, NYC 2) Case Western Reserve, Cleveland 3) everywhere else.

No one I know would have listed BG. In fairness, no one I know would have listed MSU or PSU either. Minnesota does have a pretty good program.

Is there a link to this survey?

I recently watched a movie called "Dead Awake" with Stephen Baldwin. It's a who done it, type murder tale.

Stephen was supposed to be a "Marketing Manifest Functionator" who just sat around brainstorming corporate ideas.

Is that anything like Organizational Psychology practiced on the corporate level?
