"-We've got big balls..."

"...WE'VE GOT THE BIGGEST BALLS OF THEM ALL!!!"

With all due respect to anyone thinking they got short-sheeted with scheduling I humbly offer this

Sept. 3 (Sat.) at Iowa (TBA)

Sept. 10 (Sat.) BOWLING GREEN (7:00) *

Sept. 17 (Sat.) at Auburn (TBA)

Oct. 1 (Sat.) at Boston College (TBA)

Oct. 8 (Sat.) at Western Michigan * (7:00)

Oct. 15 (Sat.) TOLEDO (2:00) * Homecoming

Oct. 22 (Sat.) at Ohio * (TBA)

Oct. 29 (Sat.) at Northern Illinois * (3:00)

Nov. 5 (Sat.) AKRON (2:00) *

Nov. 12 (Sat.) at Eastern Michigan * (1:00)

Nov. 19 (Sat.) CENTRAL MICHIGAN (Noon) *

and pose the question-

"Exactly how much crack do you need to smoke to think this looks good???"...FOR ANY MAC TEAM????

I would never back down from a fight but F-me , this is flat the MOST difficult schedule BSU has EVER had, and were TRYING to build???

4 home games. BG and Toledo ( The UT homey is always a gimme 03-wink ) and TWO IN NOVEMBER!!!! our last home game starts at NOON vs Central for God's sake!!

I hate to say this, but Ball State could be 0-9 going into those last two games.

I was thinking the same thing. It could be a very ugly season in Muncie, very ugly indeed.

Recent history is one thing, but I sure wouldn't want to place any hard-earned cash on Ball State beating Toledo this year. 03-nutkick

What I said about BGs schedule being brutal...exponentially. And just four home games. My goodness, that's bleak. A wonderful OOC schedule if you've got the horses, but when you're trying to build, that's just suicidal.

Can you say The New Central Florida? Say hello to 0-11. At least we are wasting money on a new stadium....

Unless you've given some cash, track boy, then no one's wasting your money. The stadium enhancements are being paid for with donations for this project. The money isn't being taken away from anything. People are giving the money FOR the stadium, not for anything else.

So quit your crying.

I think there are 4 winnable games on that schedule - WMU, OU, EMU, and CMU. Assuming we win half of those and surprise one out of UT, BG, NIU, or Akron, we might win three games at worst case scenario. I would love to sit here and say that we'll win 5 or 6 games, but with the rebuilding stage that we're in that's probably not realistic.

Make fun of Ball State's football stadium all you want, but I wouldn't want to claim Savage Hall or Anderson "Arena" as my school's basketball facility for anything. Ball State is gearing up for major football stadium improvements to add to what has already been done. Our playing surface is some of the nicest turf in the country and our endzone training facility is one of the nicest in the nation.

It is my understanding that BSU's OOC schedule was pretty much a done deal and the AD and Coach Hoke didn't have much of a choice. Also, in the past, all payoffs for OOC road games have gone to the universty's general fund. Hopefully the new president corrects that and the monies go straight to the football program nad/ or the stadium project. If those kids are going to get their faces beat in then they deserve to see the $ go to the football program.

a new arena's already being planned for UT and will probably become reality before Ball State's eventual finish to their stadium

Which will be a reality first, Ball State's football stadium renovation or Toledo's new basketball arena? My money is on the Ball State football stadium.
