Great picture!!! I certainly hope that the Browns give Cribbs every opportunity to make the team. I realize, however, that it is tough making it as a free agent. But then again, Gates was a free agent and he made it to the Pro Bowl.

Go Cribbs!!!

Go Flashes!!!

The kid is an athlete, no doubt about it. I still shudder when I think of the show he put on at BG in 2003. I love that the Browns brought in a lot of MAC kids as UDFA.

I see him being assigned to the taxi squad this season and then being sent to NFL Europe next year for seasoning. Hopefully, they will consider him ready in 2006.

Good luck Josh!

He's wearing the ugliest uniform in football, but I suppose making that team is better than flipping burgers.

The important question is, did he catch the bleeping ball at the end of the photo? :D

According to the Cleveland.com caption alongside the pic, he did..."Josh Cribbs snags a pass on a deep route".

I just think they have to find a spot for him, but agree with The Flash's assesment....

Also, does anybody know if the installation of the new Turf has begun?

Are the Brownies going to FieldTurf? I kind of hope the Steelers consider it, the field takes a beatdown from Pitt and the steelers and various High School games...I was really thinking the Falcons were going to draft Cribbs so he could be a pseudo-Vick if vick went down...the athletic drop off would not be that great.

Yeah, he could throw passes to Cole Magner as well. 04-rock

Cribbs is an OUTSTANDING athlete. He'll make it somewhere.

Ike,
The new turf question was in regards to Kent State's new field turf. According to the first edition of the Summer Stater yesterday, work has not begun on the turf as moving on other projects take higher priority this early in the summer. If I am remember correctly about other schools, I think the new turf only takes a couple weeks to be installed.
