Hold on a minute, dammit!!! Let me throw a shot in here for the married guys, like me. Ahem, excuse me, I've been married for around five years now, and I'm here to tell you, your curiosity grows massively stronger when you're hitched, trust me. When I was single, and ummm, thinner and much better looking, I had no reason to be curious, if you know what I mean fellas. Does the term "player" ring anyone's bell? And now, sometimes that's all I have, is curiosity. Just the nature of the beast, I guess.

If you know what I'm sayin', can I get a Amen?!!

If marriage and womyn are such evil devices, why for the name of God do we spend all of our time and energy in pursuit of them?

Is shacking up really the way to go? Bachelor for life? What's the answer?

Well said, 10Man, but I have some sad news for you. That affliction just grows stronger the longer you are married. And when the young, scrumptious girls you see start calling you sir, you'll flinch. Especially when you realize that you are almost 20 years older than they are. You won't feel any older, but they'll make you realize your age! It would feel better they just call you a jerk or some such as that.

Rebel Rx knows these things. She's just enjoying herself at the expense of the board. Rx, I think there is nothing to do but for you to put a picture of yourself on this board so that JBR's question can be answered. There's no need to be shy. Just a bunch of old ****s sitting at their computers will see it, and you'll probably make our day. Just don't say "sir", okay?

One question to the board: How come the 20 something girls have such small rear ends these days?

JBR, marriage is the death of a man, life to a woman. The whole trick is to find a way to have what gets a man married to start with without the marriage bit and without the pleading, crying, b)((*&^ing and moaning from the lady involved. If a way is ever discovered, the man who finds it will become wealthier than Bill Gates.

Well, Wry, the "sir" thing has already happened to me, unfortunately. My brother is a freshman at Ole Miss, and he introduced me to one his "co-ed" friends at a game recently. I asked her some question and got, "Yes, sir". That'll bring a black cloud over your skies real quick, especially when you're just 31. One thing, though, for some reason I didn't appreciate the "Grove" when I was a student quite as much as I do today. Gawd, maybe I'm quickly turning into a dirty ole man! Is this normal? And why in the hell am I talking about this?

10Man, it is normal because it is inevitable. When I was young and at Ole Miss and some young thing wanted to brush me off, she'd inevitably slip something in about me being "sweet". It was a code word for, "don't even think about, bud". Now, they use the word "sir" when they are giving the nice bum's rush. What's left to do but to sit in the Grove when you can and drool?

But 31 is a tad early to be getting the sir thing, unless the young woman was like 18, or just under age.

31 is young, I think. I don't think I look that old, hell I still get carded.

And having your seats next to the student section makes it hard to focus on the game sometimes, ya know? Oh well, at least you have reassured me that this is ok! I know my dad turns his head quite a bit while we tailgate, so maybe it is normal!

You gotta love the Grove!
