Not a flame...cause it's just a website after all....but what's up with it?
I don't think the MAC had to worry about marketing a "new image" like C-USA and the Big East, but it just seems like the MAC website is pretty subpar compared to the rest (except maybe the sunbelt).
What confuses me is that its done (or at least hosted by) the same people that do the ACC, BE, CUSA, and a large number of DI schools websites, CollegeSports.com.
Maybe a letter writing campaign? I just hate seeing ugly.

I agree that the MAC Web site needs work.
There's nothing horribly wrong... but not very much right, either.
For me, it starts with the league logo. I've never liked it. Red and green? Whose idea was that?

I must admit that although most of the website is typical and bland, the MAC Beat is a pretty good feature. You can find lots of good articles there concerning all the MAC teams.

Seems like the C-USA board and others have more student input, and passion. Alot of typos but plenty of rivalry.
Maybe we should promote the site in the student newapapers.

That's probably my favorite part of the site, too.

Are you suggesting a <a href='http://www.ncaabbs.com/forums/mac/invision/index.php?act=ST&f=1&t=22103&hl=design' target='_blank'>DESIGN</a> problem?
I'm about 2/3 along the way of convincing myself to submit a proposal to the MAC to work on their design. As you would suspect, this goes well beyond a logo and web-site. Rather it's trying to tweak the design of the conference, both holistically and at the component level (each university). Maybe in a year I can guage if it's worth the effort.
