One win is guaranteed - against Kent State.

The game is not even a rivalry game any more because we dominate the series so much. Our rivals are Miami and now, Ohio and BG.

But don't Miami and BG beat you regularly? You still have to come up with a QB this year..

Not sure that feeling is mutual. OhioU is Miami's rival, and Miami dominates OhioU.

Okay guys, here's this Hawk's picks for KSU.

Your D is hellacious on opponents holding them down hardcore. THis lets D get turnovers and forces punts.
Your special teams does very well too. Especially FG kicker and PR/KR. I think Coach W will put a few big guys on D to plow the sky so to speak. Second year for Coach W at KSU.

KSU surprises and goes 6-5 this year.
You beat Akron OU Buffalo easily. Miami you almost lock down, but RR runs two on you icing cake.
YOu take BG to the wire but Jacob's legs are too much, he constantly scampers on short routes and when CB's cheat to cover the outs slam across middle for big gains to the TE or WR2 on far side. You go 3-2 East. You win 3 more games including one or two of your OOC games.
Which I'm not sure, but your D will carry your team more than folks believe.

BTW your official school website has ZERO links on it (the DOT EDU site) for sports.
Hidden are intramural sports, but none listed for prospective athletes to look at schedules facilities history etc.
Your AD needs to fix that. Also couldn't find your reg School sports webpage.
Team might feel better if they knew the school was willing to put up a page about the Flashes.

I'm new to UA this fall but I've been following the websites and here's my predictions for the football team. I hope Akron continues their success from last year but I'm hearing from people that this could be a long year.

at Purdue: Akron plays hard but to no avail: 35-14L
at Middle Tennessee State: Akron comes out barely with a win: 31-30W
Northern Illinois: NIU is too tough for Akron: 38-24L
Central Michigan: Akron finally gets a home win: 31-20W
at Buffalo: Close game but Akron pulls out: 28-21W
at Miami: Miami rolls to a win: 36-24L
Army: Army pulls off the win in a close game: 28-24L
at Bowling Green: BG is too much for UA: 45-28L
at Ball State: It's tough to win at Muncie: 31-28L
Ohio: Akron pulls off the upset at home: 35-27W
Kent State: Not much offense but the Zips win on Turkey day: 17-14W

Overall: 5-6 (4-4 MAC)

Go Zips!

i will agree with you the Win/Loss on all of the games except for army. I think we will beat army fairly good with a packed bowl! 34-20. The rest of the scores are pretty high scoring for us this year, but it can be done.

If you are new to the zips check out zipsnation.org!

Hey you Kent State losers - take your talk to your own board. And while you're at it, take out the garbage and clean my ROTC rifle I shot your daddy with.

We started here, because its tough to find any fans of CrAkron. That ROTC thing was great. Did that take long to come up with? I mean it would be too easy coming up with something from this century. Oh wait, are you part of the fans that are still creative enough to say Kent read, etc?

Which garabge? The awards for having all around better athletics than you. Ok, gladly.

Which rifle shall I clean? The one that you keep shooting yourself in the foot with in important basketball games against us, or the bazooka that was your football homeopener? You know the one where we came back in the last few seconds? So many options...

or how about last year how we beat you at home all because of your dole inspired unis! HAHAHAHAHA So how many wins will you have against us in basketball? ZERO! We will beat you twcie in the regular season, and if you are good enough to meet us in the tourney we'll tear you up there too!

Let's talk about football then shall we? Lets revisit the afromentioned question about nuber of wins, but instead let's try football... ok, give up? ZERO! We will beat you on turkey dday and embarass you like the DIAA football program you really have! KUDOS!

Kent get the wagon wheel!
Kent give us an explination why every running back left the team from last year!
Kent tell us why half the basketball team left!

So, you pretty much Kent tell us anything! Thanks for playing! goodbye!

I can tell you to actually accomplish something in basketball before you talk. Great job on FINALLY getting past the first round of the tourney last year. You can laugh about the unis, but the fact is that your mascot is still a freaking kangaroo. How can you call us 1-aa? I don't see too many people knocking down the doors to see your team play.

Hey, I'll give you credit last year. You made a goalline stand to help win the game. Not exactly coming from 14 down, but ok. As far as the wagon whell goes, it didn't help you get a bowl game. KUDOS on that bowl game by the way.. Apparently, no one wanted to watch your mightier than Kent (1 win better) team in a bowl.
