The Huskie roster, as currently constructed, will be fortunate to win 12 or 13 games on the season. Besides a pronounced lack of MAC-caliber talent, there now is also a problem with lack of enough warm bodies. Out of sheer necessity, this team is going to be forced to rely on McKenzie and Paradise which is a truly frightening thought. And what happens if the Huskies suffer one or two injuries? Are Donald Whiteside and Carl Armato going to suit up again? 2005-06 is going to be another ugly season. This being the 5th year of the Rob Judson era I expected the program to be in good shape, not in even worse shape that what he inherited from Brian Hammel in 2001. THAT is why I am not renewing my season tickets and will not step one foot inside the Convocation Center. Until Rob Judson is replaced, I am putting on pause my 25 year following of Huskie hoops.
Ok alum, I guess we agree to disagree. The good thing is that we won't have to wait long into the year to see who is right with some very good early tests. I just think its tragic to give up your tickets when you have such a great non-conference home schedule this year with Depaul, UIC, Kansas State.

Off the topic....this ESPN bracket buster needs to be terminated, at least for NIU, what a joke that is.

CMU had the majority of their team back the year after Kamen left. Without him in the middle garnering all of the attention, their outside shooters didn't have as much time and space to shoot 3 pointers. Hence, they finished last in the West Division.
I think Hughes can be a really special player, maybe not a Kaman-level player but most definitely someone that could contribute to a MAC championship. I wonder if he put on any weight this off-season.
