Apparently there isn't going to be a Jeff Genyk TV show this year. At least I can't find any mention of it. As I write this I'm watching the GVSU Sports Report on Comcast Local. Nothing special but a better set than JG had last year. Why can GVSU produce a simple interview show with some film clips and get it on TV and EMU can't? The production costs have to be exactly the same whether it's a D-I or D-II program. I know money is tight but you've got to communicate and be available to the public to build interest in the programs and the gate receipts to suppport them.

Comcast Local is listing the "Jeff Genyk Show" for 6:30 on Thursday. Nothing mentioned about it on emich.edu/goeagles.

This will be my last post in this thread, because it's beginning to look like I'm talking to myself and I'd hate to prove my wife right. She says I do it all the time. 03-wink

I watched the Jeff Genyk Show tonight and enjoyed what I saw. The production was much nicer than last year's sitting in a fabric shrouded studio with a TV in the background. Tonight they were standing on the field at Rynearson and everything looked good. They had lots of game film from the Cincinnati game and spoke at length with JG and a couple of players. Overall, a job well done.

It is vitally important that EMU gets the message of its developing football program out to the state, Detroit in particular, and this show fits the bill. I would hope that something similar could be done for basketball or even an weekly EMU Sports Review show.

Hey DexEagle...didn't want you to feel lonely. 03-wink

Glad to hear the production quality on the TV show is improving. I don't have Comcast where I live so I don't get a chance to see it.

Do you ever get a chance to listen to his radio show? I am just before his show with The Sports Den.

Keep up the communication guys. Toured your campus during the Michigan game. Nice campus! I like the Football stadium and how it was tied into the basketball stadium by the tunnel.
