Yep, it was. That Walmart was in a bad part of town. The ghetto pretty much. I always hated to go there, now i'll never go there.

must've been the Northside I guess
I always heard in Ft. Smith that side was worse.
Can't say for sure though imho.

indeed, the north side is the worst side. It keeps getting worse and worse. About the only time I go over there is to Northside High SChool to various athletic events.

Yeah...hope downtown stays well though. It can use a little touch-up but otherwise it's pretty nice. I'm glad Fayetteville realized the importance of downtown being the best part of the city.
LR needs to fix downtown too. Building the ballpark for the Travs on the riverfront would be a start.

Whats this about a murder in a Ft. Smith Wal-Mart? I'm out of town so I havent seen any local news, sure is sad to hear. Its sometimes fun to go to the Midland Wal-Mart, there are always some characters over there.

A convicted robber went into a Ft. Smith Wal-Mart before it was opened, and shot and killed an associate. Other associates went into a secure room, called police, and they arrested him at the scene.
