BOWLING GREEN, Ohio -- Bowling Green head football coach Gregg Brandon announced the hiring of Bubba Jones as defensive coordinator for the Falcons.

Jones, 50, brings eleven years of experience as commissioner of judges and stewards for the International Arabian Horse Association to his role with the Falcons.

"In my opinion, the Brandon couldn't have chosen a better man to help our defense," quarterback Omar Jacobs said. "Jones is a great leader and a great man. He will be a tremendous asset to our defense."

I guess one game was enough to convince Brandon that he never should have hired Lyle Lovett to run his defense.
