i feel sorry for the football team this year as they have no hope for post season. the athletic director Bill Bradshaw basically pimped them out for the money this year. We play the fifth toughest schedule in the nation and it will go higher. ASU should have won that game last night against LSU and Wisconsin is definitely above the middle of the pack Big ten, possibly number 2 in the conference, so our team is not the worst. but all of the flaws have been unmasked, thanks to the bad recruiting years due to the question marks about our program caused by the administration and now since we lost all those starters 3 day before the start of the season due to academics, this season is gone. Now all those questionsthat have hurt recruiting have been answered but one and that is the hiring of a new head coach, which will be done after this season and i wish with him, would go our bumbling AD. i think Coach Wallace is a good coach the has been hurt by the Question that have laid upon the program and he unfortunately will not reap the benefits of MAC Membership.

things will look up for the owls. it just may not show this year.
i wish i could do this to Bradshaw for this years schedule 03-nutkick

Surviving this year will be no small task. This team could easily give up on Wallace with a few more pastings like the one delivered by Wisky.

Does next year's schedule offer any more hope? Who's on the dockett?

Hmmm ... I count 11 on tap for 2006. Might make sense to schedule a 1-AA. SEMizzou seems to be a favorite of other MAC teams. @ Buffalo is a good roadie for you guys. It will be interesting to see what other MAC schools end up on the schedule.

2007 looks decent. Kentucky is not juggernaut. Good MAC slate, too.

Looks like there's hope!

Bradshaw didn't have much of a choice, did he? We lost a ton of cash without Big East cf hand-outs, and were faced with the difficulty of trying to schedule games when most teams are deep into their cf schedule.

I've been impressed with 1. getting us into the MAC; 2. and the scheduling deals with PSU, Navy, and Army; and 3. getting us on t.v. (though I'm having second thought about our having our pants pulled down each week in front of a tv audience now).

Adamany and Wallace blow goats, but I'm having a tougher time blaming Bradshaw for the horror this season will be/already is.

i agree he is not soley responsible and that is an excuse that BB used when he was scheduling that alot of schools where deep into their conference season. Army and Navy seem to schedule okay.

Now i am happy with the Army & Navy Additions. I would be happy with the 1 Home for two road games with Penn State if we did not schedule like we did with Clemson and Auburn. He talks about scheduling being a mixture, then he goes out and does just the opposite.

our team has been hurt severely by President Adamany's decisions but Bradshaw is definitely helping Adamany's decisions.

now with the positive, we didn't have that many injuries in the first two losses.

Temple should also schedule Villanova and/or Delaware every so often. It would create some local interest, and hopefully attract new fans to attend collegiate football for the first time.

Both are D-1AA, but have loyal followings and most would show up for the games. Villanova is located about 10 miles from the Temple campus, and U of Delaware might be 35 miles away.

Army & Navy were good additions as was Penn State.

Temple gift rapped Toledo the game, or should I say Mike McGann, this past Saturday. I thought Temple played well enough to win the game. Our offense was moving the ball, and if it weren't for Mike McGann, we could have gained the confidence to take Toledo out. The defense left their mark on the Toledo offense physically. In the trenches, Temple and Toledo were going at it all game. Very Physical!!! Toledo does have a good QB and I think he is going to do well at the next level. Other than that, there talent level is pretty equal to Temple's. The difference? QB's. Toledo has a great one and Temple's just sucks. Doesn't matter how good your receivers, o-line, and company are! With out a QB, your not going to win games. I say start Sam Clancy for the Western Michigan game. He atleast understood the importance of checking down all the recievers rather than keeping your eye on one from the moment the ball is snapped. As a result, the offense looked great toward the end of the game. Second team defense has nothing to do with it. Receivers were open all game, McGann is just the type of quarterback that never finds the open man. Nevertheless, I'm just looking foward to this weeks game and hope to see a game that isn't decided by points off of turnovers.

GO OWLS!!!!
