Good lord, what are the odds that we saw this VE turd at the Temple game?

As soon as I read his ignorant smack, I instantly thought about this particularly dumb Temple fan who sat over near the Toledo fans on the 50 yard line. Temple gained a first down and that's all he needed to start flapping his mouth... taunting our fans and players.

It was priceless. He was so ridiculous, we asked how many points it would take to shut him up. The magic number was apparently 21 because that's when he ran off to the other side with his tail between his legs.

the best was when he was heckling our players, when he yelled to Brett Kern to put his helmet down because he wasn't going to play. For those of you who don't know, Brett Kern is our punter. :ownd:

Nice research skills.
that is classic....

I am sorry but in the eyes of any true football fan the MAC blows. You got 2-4 teams that feast on the rest of the confrence and pull an upset now and again to a sleeping BCS school.... Temple fits right in.... Give them a year or two and we will bring our 300 people to your local stadium... just you wait and see!!!!!

Arragonce??? All I have said is Temple is just as bad as the rest of you guys.... I think it takes arrogance not to see it for yourself....

TEMPLE IS A PERFECT FIT FOR THE MAC.... AND MAN DOES THAT SUCK!
The point is, you acted like you were bringing facts to the table and your facts were innacurate.

Or you just can't read.

Not all of us at Temple feel the way Victory Engineer does.

yes we are struggling this year, but it is because we had five plus years with this bad administration (President and AD) whom i hope will both be leaving the party soon.

we where late getting the Stadium deal with the Lincoln Financial Field Done thirty days before our first game a few years ago, we made the deal.

We were kicked out of the Big East thanks to our esteemed president who forced a vote that wasn't even on the table at hte Big East. i can;t confirm this but i was told this by someone who was in athletics at the time.

he then puts a focus group that will discuss the future of Football. This took about seven months (another Year of Lost recruiting, and when they made their decision to support athletics, he decided he needed to review their findings for another two months.

Our AD knowing for three years that we were getting booted from the Big East, takes his time in getting into a conference. Many at Temple believe that this should of happened a year earlier.

we lost our starting quarterback and Rian Wallace due to the Horrific schedule and knowing that there where still question marks as to whether we where going to be in the mac or not or even playing football.

now our last recruiting problem is that we now had Wallace in his last year with a significant Buyout. How many great recruits go to a school that doesn't know who their next coach is going to be?

our AD then puts together a schedule that Notre Dame and Penn State would refuse to play.

also just before the season, we have a mixup in the grading standards that force 9 people on the two deep depth chart to be ineligible. 7 of these players where starters.

Next year. New Coach, Hopefully it will bwe Neuheisel
better recruiting and we will be competitive.

i have to give our players credit for hanging in there, with very little depth. Many players are playing too many snaps and are definitely tiring at the end of games.

We have played and were crushed by the two best teams in the MAC with guys who where in positions that they didnt expect to be in 7 days before the beginning of the season. we were also competitive with Western Michigan.

Please give us time, we will improve in the next two years.

Go Owls :)

There's no doubt that this year the MAC is down, but at least its going in a positive direction, unlike the Big Least you used to be in. What, would you rather join the Sun Belt? Even they would hesitate to pick up Temple, so be glad you're joining the MAC. This conference is more competitive than you give it credit for. Even the bottom feeders manage to pull off the occasional upset against upper tier MAC teams that manage to upset BCS teams. The truth is, the MAC is not a terrible conference, and belongs in Div. 1A just as much as any BCS conference. If you need any proof, just look at the amount of attention the MAC has been getting from ESPN recently. Obviously someone doesn't think the MAC sucks.

And the MAC has been so impressive this year, i just don't know how the owls can compete....

Right now if temple was a full member we would be third in the east at worst.... And temple is a very very very bad team... the worst i have scene since 1996....
that was about 150 more then Temple, unless of course you count the band.

Vic, you need to chill out man. Being in a mid-major conference with the likes of quality programs like Bowling Green, Miami, and Northern Illinois is a privilege, not a right. Nothing will make me more happy then for the Owls to beat one of these programs for the MAC Championship in a few years. Until then I think all of us Temple fans should shut our mouths and thank the other MAC members for the invite.

By the way, connerito, I am not the biggest fan of Philadelphia but Toledo sure isn't the Miss America of cities either.

Why did we bring this basketball school into the conference?
face it victory ? your basketball school needed the MAC, the conference sure as hell didn't need your program, God only know why you were invited you don't add anything to the conference. 01-lauramac2 04-rock
