I just read on the "old" board that there are rumors abound on campus about Eli dating Brittany Spears. You heard any of this, since you apparently are in Oxford? Or, any of you other Oxfordians gotten any wind of this?

Yes, this certainly is a meaningless topic, but I am curious if Eli is seeing that hottie!

I must say that is a new one for me. A friend of mine says Eli is seeing his ex. It's plausible because she is a fox but I don't know if I believe it. Sorry about not being able to confirm the rumor. It would be rather titilating to see that vixen in the Grove come Saturday though.

Does this mean that Eli is going to say, "oops, I did it again!" when he throws an interception?

Well, certainly you are an oddball here if you have standards. In fact,it is against the rules to have standards. Better straighten up, bud.

"Hit me, D-line, one more time...."

I know, that's pathetic. But I just couldn't help myself. I have no self-control. And I don't even pretend to have standards.

Just wait awhile, Ears and the rest of the tigers/war eagles/plainsmen will get their shot.

BTW: Tuberville puts his hands on his hips like a girl a lot more now...what happened to him? Does he carry a purse, too?

(I couldn't resist slamming our former coach.)

Nope, but he sports a fanny pack. Some kid told me he saw him in the boys' room with a fistful of candy and a sick grin on his face.

I won't get into the smack with y'all for a couple more weeks yet.

I wouldn't mind heading to Oxford for the game, but I no longer have a good (read - free ) source for tickets. Also, I don't think I'd get the full effect of the Grove, as I no longer drink. A couple of years ago, I would have been "in there like swimwear", as they say.

Good luck with the Gators, they can be had!

Thanks, we need all the luck we can get. I'm not suggesting that Tub is gay, I just hate to see a man standing there looking like my "Aunt".

Since Tub left us like he did and I emphasize "like he did", I never miss an opportunity to slap him around - if I get the chance.

I just found out I won't be able to make it to the game tomorrow. Family matters arose and I depart the land of Rebs and honeys after Trig today. Someone be sure to scream "This is where we take them out" for me before the opening snap, please. Oh, and "out" is to be said like Peter Jennings (overenunciatedly). Rest assured I will be verbally assaulting the TV and everyone around it tomorrow.

Here's to overdue upsets

Give 'em hell.

Believe me, I stay focused on the game...I've just noticed that Tub stands with his hands turned backwards on his hips - all the time.

Tub would challenge the opponent. . . keep them guessing what he had up his sleeve. Cutcliffe is plain vanilla - at least up until now he has been.

Don't try to make it sound like the Ole Miss alums and fans are unique or unusual for *****ing about Cutcliffe - everybody has or does (when you feel you are squandering great opportunities). If you had him, you'd be saying the same things.

BTW: We aren't questioning his moral character, integrity or anything. We just think he needs to get a little fire, and OPEN IT UP. As I said, if you were an OM fan, you'd be upset, too!
