And it just gets FUNNIER....

Brad, I think I found your wife-to-be...just need to get a picture, but the personality has to be pretty compatible

Letter to Scott Faldon, writer of above column.. found at RabidHogFans.com

Mr. Faldon,

I read your column and must admit that it amused me beyond belief. Having
lived in Alabama for 10 years, I watch for the inevitable return of the
drunken, Alabama fans to my television screen (Yes, I recognize the
redundancy). When discussing Alabama fans, one must realize that there are
two subcategories of these bottom-feeding, asexual mammals. There are the
trailer-park-camaro-driving rednecks who can't spell "Tuscaloosa", much less
pick it out on a map. The only thing that I find more appalling than these
single-helix degenerates are the "has-been" frat boys (I use the term "boys"
loosely). These are men in their thirties and forties who act like 6
year-old girls. They whine and cry and boast and lie and try and act like
they are still sophomores on a 4-day drinking binge. The khakis and
button-downs stay the same, maybe just a couple sizes bigger than they used
to be. They sit in the stands and drink their bourbon and wax philosophical
about the good ole' days when The Bear was coach and how different things
would have been if he were still the coach and how it would have been cool
if they could have frozen his head like Ted Williams. Maybe they could have
called the folks at Jim Henson's studio and worked out an arrangement to
give him the body of Kermit the Frog, so's he'd have arms to draw out the
plays, and all.

It all makes me want to rent a U-Haul and move to Mississippi... if for
nothing else, the elevated culture.

Shelly

I wondered if anyone else noticed. I thought for a long time that it was just my imagination. Pretty funny articles. The thing is, we all have those same fans. Sad, but true!

Auburn fans have known this forever.

If bammer beats you, they want to talk, but if you beat them, it's either the cold shoulder, or this kind of junk.
