That is actually a home game for Wyoming. The Vols paid a ton of money to get Wyoming to play in Nashville instead of having the game out in Laramie.

Wyoming is playing it mostly though because they don't average 15,000 per game at their stadium in Laramie. Having the 'home' game in Nashville keeps them easily within Div. 1-A guidelines.

Wyoming sold it's home game to the Nashville Sports Council. If it had sold the game to UT, it would be in Knoxville.

I heard somewhere that Wyoming is looking to pay offa bout 15 years worth of debt with this game. The Coliseum holds about twice as many as War Memorial, so they are gonna make quite a bit of money off us UT fans. Anyway, that is why we are playing in Nashville.

i heard somewhere we paid Wyoming $60,000 to move the game to Nashville. I like to think of Nahville as our 2nd home. We can pack 60,000 Vol fans in when we play Vandy every other year.

Also ESPN wouldnt agree to televise the game in Wyoming so we got some additional TV coverage. I hope we look better than the other 2 teams in the top 5 that have played already. oklahoma looked weak. Swallows and coughs. Roll Tide!
