Scoring fury: The 21 points Vanderbilt scored in the fourth quarter against Ole Miss was the most it has scored in the final quarter of a game since posting the same number of points against Alabama in 1990. The Crimson Tide led in that game, which was also played on Sept. 21, after the third quarter 59-7.

Few flags: After being called for just two penalties against Ole Miss, the Commodores are the least penalized team in the SEC. Vandy has been penalized just 23 times in four games for an average loss of 38.5 yards per game.

Plenty of tickets are available and can be purchased at www.vucommodores.com on the Internet or by calling the ticket office at 322-4653.
Yours truly will be there this weekend. It's time for a much deserved SEC win!

Turnover time: Vanderbilt and South Carolina are struggling with turnovers. The Commodores, who have given the ball away nine times in the past three games, are ranked 11th in the SEC in turnover margin at minus-7, just ahead of South Carolina (minus-5). The Gamecocks have lost 10 fumbles.
