Please, describe to me how he "physically" assaulted the ref? Since I was there, about 10 rows from it, and have no idea what your talking about.

Calipari was also involved in some verbal assault towards the officials, so don't act like Memphis was perfect tonight.

For those who didn't notice, our coach could still be visually located in the gym at the end of the game.

DeAngelo Williams. You know, that guy that graduated and took all of your wins with him. lmfao

You're 19-37 against us. You've got a LOOOOONG way to go to even make this series respectable. Right now, you're just another patsy on our schedule.

Only because he didn't signal a traveling call to Larry "George Jefferson" Rose.

Yeah..Good thing he doesn't have to coach nearly as much as Eustachy does.

You're right. We're just not used to losing. Being a Memphis fan, I can see how you've accepted it, but not us. We strive to be the best in everything, not just basketball.

Are you an ole miss fan? They're the only ones I've heard who use this "facilities" argument.

I suppose Southern Cal must be on a lower level than you, too, since they don't have their own place, either.

But, would you rather lease a Ferrari or own a Yugo?

As far as our players getting older, I'll do you a favor. Whatever you do, DON'T look at our incoming class. Keep thinking that we're gonna lose everybody.

Oh, I got it. So any wins the Tigers have attained against Southern Miss in football in which we had good players don't count. Only the losses when we have a bunch of less than average players. Thanks.

Why don't you try to achieve top 25 status in a sport for a couple of seasons in row and make this conference some money. Until then, keep your mouth shut.

He should be suspended without a doubt. Hilarious to see him lose it like that
though. Also that game was slow enough, we didn't need that idiot refusing to leave the f'in floor. lmfao

That "idiot" has forgotten more about basketball than you will EVER know. The game was slow enough because the dumb refs wouldn't let either team play basketball. And he is going to call a tech on Eustachy for signaling that there should have been traveling? Give me a break.

Memphis had 46 free throw attempts. They SHOULD have won by a lot more.

Funny how everytime we go down to that hell hole its a foul fest. Tell your players to learn how to play D without fouling.

Where were you during football season? I guess you were curled up in the fetal position at a psych ward somewhere. lmfao

Where were you tonight that you forgot that it wasn't football season anymore? When you can figure out how to attack folks from the basketball standpoint during basketball season, let us know.

LMFAO!! Another Mempho fan that was nowhere to be found during football season.

We win in the sport that matters. You can have basketball. Or not. Your veteran team struggled against our freshmen tonight. Looks like there will be a new sheriff in town for CUSA basketball soon. lmfao

You do realize our veteran team is a bunch of sophs and froshs, right?

I was agreeing with the second part of his post.

We achieve Top 25 status in baseball yearly, and have done it in football quite a few times in football over the past five years. When is the last time Memphis finished in the Top 25 in football? That's what I thought. Until then, keep your mouth shut.

"We probably shouldn't be able to, but I was hoping to get the team to the point this time of year where we could seize an opportunity like this," Larry Eustachy said.

"We're just not quite there yet, and I'm disappointed from my end."

I didn't hear one word about officiating or favoritism towards Memphis.

Eustachy has class. You don't

i think a coach with class would not of gotten 2 technicals and gotten kicked out of the game

I was hardly "nowhere" to be found. Actually, it's your name that looks new to me, but whatever. The bottom line is this---our football team lost alot of games last year. Southern Miss was hardly the only team who took advantage of the moment, so you can get off that. You beat us, good for you. I didn't talk smack about football even during our good years, so don't try that band wagoner sh%& on me.

I make no bones about being a basketball fan. Your team played well, and I will try not to take out my feelings about some of the fans on this board on that team, but give me a break. Your team is just now starting to do something for the first time in a long time, and when they didn't succeed against us, you try everything from talking about another sport to pulling out the kitchen sink to make yourself feel better about it.

We won in basketball, and we are the team to beat in this league. No disrespect towards anyone else because we are not unbeatable, but when you can learn how to beat us and do it on a regular basis---along with making any kind of tourny and/or getting ranked, then you can run your trap about our team's struggles on the court. Until then, you are all talk. You lost. Take it like a man and move on.

I still see that no one has chosen to answer my question as to how Eustachy "physically" assaulted the official?

So what does that say about Calipari, who almost got in a fist-fight with Temple's coach a couple years back?

Memphis fans amaze me.

Just make this damn conference some money. Memphis' Elite 8 finish last year in a sport that USM fans don't believe matters, made more money for this conference than all of USM's bowl game payouts to the conference over the last 10 years combined. But, listening to USM fans you would think basketball doesn't matter. Until you make this conference some money, keep your mouth shut.

C'mon, we know the Tigers are a horrendous FT shooting team.

I say the refs were doing all they could to help out the Eagles.

What?!?! My pathetic theory is just as good as everyone else's.
