AUBURN, Ala. (AP) -- Auburn and Georgia Tech, which haven't met on the football field since the 1987
season, will renew their rivalry in 2003.

The teams will meet Sept. 6, 2003, at Bobby Dodd Stadium in Atlanta and in 2005 at Auburn's
Jordan-Hare Stadium.

The game in Atlanta was originally scheduled to be played at the Georgia Dome, but the two schools
agreed to move the contest to Grant Field which is currently undergoing renovation.

Auburn has played Georgia Tech 90 times, more than any other opponent except Georgia. The two
teams played for the first time in Auburn's first year of football, 1892, and met every year from
1905-1987. The Tigers lead the all-time series, 4

Kudos to AD Dave Braine and the Tech front office for renewing this series. I'd like to see Tech bring Alabama, Tennessee, and other SEC teams back to the schedule.

Ok, we own Georgia in Georgia, guess we will have to own Tech too.

Seriously, i look forward to going to Hotlanta and going to the game and then the Gold Club, no wait, they closed my favorite gentleman's club.. hum....i guess i will have to find another.
