A short story and then a link...

So, on Friday, my husband made his debut in the regular season in Germany. He's had a few problems with his knee that have been holding him out. Anyway, the game was against Nurnberg, and the entire time, I was thinking to myself (well, along with other things), why can't I place this guy? I was staring at his name, number, him, etc and while the name was SO familar, I couldn't figure who it was. The player was Corey Rouse... so I finally get home and look in Kicker (a magazine that had a preview of each team) and figure out why it was so familar!

Oh-- he had 12 points, 8 rebounds and 5 steals defending (IIRC) mostly Travon Bryant. Unfortunately, his team lost... they are in last place with an 0-5 record. They've had some close games, but just haven't been able to get over the hump. The team really is only in the first division because the league was expanded from 16-18 teams. Last season, they were in the bottom two and supposed to go down to the second division. Hopefully they can grab a few wins!
