@ UAB Predictions
I only saw a little of the UAB v. OU game, but UAB looked very good. Our LBers are gonna have to step up to keep UAB's mobile quarterback in check. Without the long catch/run by Peterson, UAB held OU to 158 yds passing. A little scary, but I don't think Thompson is on Pinkney's level.

I'm a homer, so I'm going with ECU 24, UAB 21.

I picked ECU in this one as well. It will be nice to see us play someone with a more balanced offensive scheme.

I go 34-27

The good news about Watson Brown teams is that they tend to play to their opponent. Hopefully they think we suck and then we don't suck quite so bad.

UAB = 38
ECU = 17

UAB with 365 yds russing and 145 yds passing. UAB defense scores a TD.

One of ECU scores is a put or kickoff return for a TD due to piss poor coverage.

Attendance = 23,265 1/2

lmfao lmfao lmfao

1/2??? Are you trying to count your flag girls as 1 & 1/2's now? By the way, while ECU's flag line is slimmer than the UAB flag line, we are still holding down our side of the stands pretty well.

Don't mess with me or I will get our flag girls to sit on your flag girls and squish them into a greasy spot...... And we have some that outweigh your lineman...... ;-)

I wouldnt expect our offense to be ALL that balanced... moreso than Navy for sure, but they only had like 2 passes. As long as the run is working for us, we'll stick primarily to that. UAB looked about the best they've ever looked against OU. If they play with similar intensity, this game wont be close. If they play like Watson-coached teams tend to play, it could be close.

I think it will be extremely close, with the Pirates taking the game 89 - 3.

Can't say that anymore. Our guard looked good last night! Go Blazer Band! BTW- When is ECU going to bring their band to Birmingham??? We made the trip in 97. It was a nice trip and we had alot of fun. Especially whoever fed UAB band members that year. The Brats were really good! ! !
