Ouch! Can LSU still win the West with Randall at QB?
Quote:- LSU quarterback Matt Mauck will be out at least eight weeks after having surgery on his foot Sunday.
Surgery on a sprained ligament in the mid-foot area of the sophomore's right foot went well, team doctor Brent Bankston said.
Mauck was injured in a 36-7 victory over Florida on Oct. 12.
Bankston said two screws were placed in Mauck's foot to stabilize the joint.
Mauck started the first six games for the Tigers (6-1, 3-0 Southeastern Conference).
He completed 63 of 130 passes for 782 yard, nine touchdowns and two interceptions. He also ran for 175 yards and two scores.
Marcus Randall replaced Matt Mauck and in his first college start on Saturday passed for 219 yards to rally the Tigers to a 38-14 victory over South Carolina.

I believe that Randall can play well enough to win the west. I also feel that he can led the tigers to a win in the SEC championship game if needed to.
I feel like LSU is in the same place that Florida has been in in the past.We now have to QB's that can come in and win when Saban puts them in the game.

I would like to see Mauck starting but I would have to agree Randell is a good QB also. Despite his preformance this past weekend.
