Down to the wire UMass field goal, 2.14 left. Ball State had a great return last time.

Toledo 20 - Sacramento 17

That will hurt UT in the computers scraping past the MAC's last ranked team.

I caught the big pass for the go ahead 21-17 drive at the gym. Looked great on ESPN.

Missed extra point in OT sealed the game. UMass gets up to 5 wins for the first time since joining FBS.

We need to win 2 of the next 3 to get bowl eligible, and that's not a crazy thing to happen.

Congrats it has to be exciting to see the progress.

Every additional win a program takes in FBS is a big milestone. 5 wins and UMass does have a shot at a bowl game though 6 wins would likely seal it.

We are getting very close to declaring UMass FB no longer a problem child in the MAC.

That should not be how they rank teams. When you are good, every week is like a bowl game for the other team, while the good team has to defend as hard as they can while wearing themselves down in defense every week.

As the year goes on, UT and WMU have to fight harder and harder against opponents that are throwing everything they have at them in order to get just one positive win for the season. I have always thought that it is easier to get the late season blowout victory in a conference when your are the third or forth best team in that conference.

That said , championship teams are not jugged by margin of victory in the games they play, but by winning the game in the end. Winners win!...except of course when power conference refs cheat for the big boys- both UT and WMU have been victims of well documented and proven P4 refs cheating and stealing their victory and giving it to the big boys.

Good win and very interning game from both teams.

I know that some on here hate MACTion, but I love it! Especially when the games are as good as this one was.

How does the media continue to fawn over Creighton’s EMU tenure? Lazy effing reporting, even by 2026 standards.

Chris, it’s time to retire and coach NAIA ball in California. Have some self-respect.

Travel for the mid week games to the west coast has to been rough on these players. That was my fear on team having a off nite due to the wear and tear with travel.

Enjoying the Maction and an OT win for the Minutemen. Hoping for continued improvement as we take in the Rockets at the Glass Bowl on Veteran's Day.

The whole basis for UT and WMU being the top teams in the MAC over Ohio is because of that margin of victory.

A much needed win by the Chippewas over their oldest rival (EMU) last night! And finally, long overdue, a trophy has been established for this rivalry game (first played in 1902) that is the oldest in the MAC!

Did I see attendance was 12,000+ at Ford Field?

That's too bad. I had hoped for better than that.

Touche. On the bright side Toledos DE Andrew Zock has 12 more negative tackles than anyone in the nation, more forced fumbles than anyone and is 2nd in sacks nationally. He is breaking Khalil Mack stats everywhere except INTs but hes made up for it in turnovers on the ground. Thats the fun part of watching a close game when the offense has a stinker. Only 2 offensive bad games for the Rockets on the year. Walendczak is back next week and we had 2 100 yard rushers AGAIN from Miller and Ison. I wouldn't overlook UT based on SAC being the only real travel UT has had all season with a funky gameweek. 2 hours to MSU. 2.75 to BSU. 45 minutes to Ypsi was a blessing until November.

Point heard tho as Ohio drilled Sac State.

More of the visitors (CMU) came than normal for a midweek games. Not sure what the cost was to get Ford Field though... looked like a MAC title game with UB and NIU or something.
