All Tech fans are aware of that possibly happening. We're pleasantly surprised with how the season has gone so far but we're not confident of winning the west until we win it.

Honestly all I know is that I definitely don't want the ULX twins to win. I would prefer stAte and USM not to win it. So I guess I am happy to see Troy or USA win it if Tech doesn't.

I think Tech takes the West and good for them. Hopefully Troy can at least give them a good game but depends on which one of the Troy teams show up either the low energy unmotivated team or the one that can actually compete. I told my buddy that ULM was going to win over Troy and he looked at me as if I was crazy but I saw how they entered off the bus and walked to the stadium...it was a scene out of Dawn of the Dead...absolute zombies with no energy at all. I blame the coach as he looks like he could care less whether we win or lose when he is on the sidelines. Hopefully he will join Norvell on the list of terminated coaches and we can try again.

For someone living in Ruston, you seem to be pretty clueless. If you don’t think Tech fans are already preparing themselves for the other shoe to drop you must be actually living under a rock. come on Deb, Tech fans are already preparing for the melt down.

Since my GoldenEagles won't be in it this year (maybe next year??), I'm gonna go out on a Limb to say it will be LATech v GASouthern. I'll happily root for both of these teams except when LT is playing SM.

I hope that it's either App or Marshall from the East. From the West, if I have to choose someone other than USM, I will go with Texas St (Or Ark St if I'm not allowed to choose a former member).

If the Herd doesn't get there, I'm gonna break rank and go with JMU (sit down, I know...!) I have a friend who works in athletics and our nonprofit helped one of their trainers in need...Basically, anyone but App and maybe Troy

If we win out and LaTech wins all but GA SO, we're in! Okay, not likely, but possible.

While it's still possible for USM to win the West, it isn't likely. Given that, I'd like a 1 loss LaTech to get there (loss to USM) and play GA SO or App. I'd be fine with Marshall, but they have their toughest games still ahead of them.

I do want to preface this and say I know JMU has had a tough stretch the last few weeks. I really do like JMU, I hold nothing against them for trying to better themselves and I wish them the best going forward.
