The Sun Belt sucks again. 5-7 while playing all games at home vs the MAC. JMU played scrappy for the first 34 minutes with 13 new players on the roster. Then wilted in the last 6 minutes vs the preseason MAC favorite. Miami is a more seasoned and much more savvy team than JMU and they share the ball just as good as their undefeated team last year.

If USA/JMU/ULM could’ve pulled their heads out of their a*s and closed their respective games out, then we could easily have gone 8-4 last night. ULM blew a dbl digit lead and USA/JMU both led a lot of game time before they collapsed.

Certainly a bad taste in all of our mouths and now how we wanted the SBC to represent, but there were at least some positive signs.

I know we’re probably never gonna be a 2 bid league, but I’d at least like to be on par with the superior 1 bid leagues and not the ASUNs of the world.

Despite trailing 64-54 with 1:26 remaining and having just a 1.8% chance of winning per ESPN, South Alabama ties the game and then wins 83-80 in double overtime against Jacksonville State.

LaTech won 76-17………that is not a typo. Were they playing a WNBA team, what the hell man???
