Editorial I read in a Ukrainian newspaper
The writer is a real hardliner calling for Ukraine to strike military cemeteries to humiliate their dead, to strike schools, retirement homes, the whole 9 yards. These are frequent though, not republished in western media, and show the butt hurt their Russia haters really are.
But the most hilarious part was his complaints about Russias dead. He claims Russian people aren’t suffering enough. There are teams of people in Ukraine sorting through lists of killed soldiers on the Russian side and finding a large percent come from the Donbas regions, some from Crimea, foreign fighters, were criminals, or Russians from the Caucasus regions.
He seems pretty upset that Russians are losing “the wrong” people because most of the dead aren’t husbands and fathers, so the suffering in Russia won’t be as great for some reason, and that Ukraine needs to focus on “equalizing the level of suffering.”
This sick individual has a prominent place in Ukrainian media. Thats why Ukraine cant be dealt with, because the type of people who are able to rise to prominence during wars are often psychotic and damaged. And the entire Poroshenko government was loaded with them, and Zelensky kept most, and reloaded with own nut jobs.
I never heard him ask why Ukraine started the war in the first place if they didn’t want to fight? But that’s for Ukrainians to sort out when they either realize they are fighting for no reason, regain their sanity, or run out of people to fight.

RE: Editorial I read in a Ukrainian newspaper
Worst month of the war for Russia last month. Almost 55K Russians killed or wounded last month. Since the Russians don't really have any way or inclination to evac wounded from the battlefield----some sources are even saying this is the first modern war where the KIA rate is higher than the wounded rate. From what I can tell---that claim varies depending on the source. Stars and Stripes appears to be sticking to the old 3 wounded for every one death stat in their reporting below (Hard to tell if that figure is actually substantiated for this specific conflict or just a rule of thumb estimate). The most interesting thing is the Ukrainians are largely killing individual soldiers---not with bullets----but with drones. Due to this, its taking less and less troops to defend the Ukraine front lines because fewer and fewer Russians can even make across the "drone kill zone" to a point where they can directly engage defenders. This year, due to drone improvements, the casualty ratio has shifted from 3 Russian casualties for every 1 Ukrainian casualty to 8 Russian casualties for every one Ukrainian casualty. With the casualty ratio becoming increasingly disadvantageous for the Russians---and their critical infrastructure taking more and more damage well behind the lines---a longer war is becoming a more and more unattractive option for Russia. Like I keep saying---the longer this war continues----the more the adverse affect of the war is felt equally on both sides.

Ukraine is just mad that a lot of the people fighting against them, who they claim to be eliminating, were actually born Ukrainian.
-Excluding, of course, the North Koreans, Russian prisoners and drug addicts, and the Dagestanis, all of which no Russians care about at all, or, are happy to see gone.

If you add up the Ukrainian causality totals they post every month, it’s approaching 12 million since the war started.
Anyone who believes them deserves to be bankrupt.
And we are.

Hating Russia is a pretty normal outcome to being invaded.

I am glad you posted this. It is an interesting look into the Russian psyche. Pure evil sick people. A mafia state run by a megalomaniac.

By the way----forced mobilization of peoples in illegally occupied territory is actually a war crime....so maybe thats why the Ukrainian writer didnt much like it. You got to love it when the local Russian propagandist walks right into admitting a war crime.
