At this point in the season I'm really happy GS is in the hunt for the East especially after the poor start we had.

Biggest surprise in a bad way for me: ODU - Everybody had turnover but it seemed like they returned enough to have another great season. I certainly got that one wrong. I guess the other big thing so far has been the parity. It really has been a "any given Saturday" kind of year. JMU looked like they might run away with it this year but that was not the case.

LaTech has a 2 game lead over the East and Georgia Southern has a 1 game lead over the East. ULM and ODU each have 1 SBC win, with all the other teams standing at 2 losses, so the difference between 3 and 12 is mostly perception. The home loss and 2 losses in a row made me drop JMU the most this week. LaTech @ Troy is the game of the week.
