RE: CUSA Standings
I think we’ll be lucky if anyone besides the top two finishes above .500 in conference play.

Oh--I'll have to disagree.

I think two of those five (2-2 records) have an excellent chance to finish above .500--especially if 1 or 2 of those five go winless or only win only one the rest of the way. That's just too many schools playing each other for a couple not to improve and get a little distance.

RE: CUSA Standings
If Jax and Liberty both go 8-0 (a big if), here’s the rest of the standings taking those games into account:

DEL 2-3
NMSU 2-3
MTSU 2-3
FIU 1-3
Kenn 1-3
WKU 2-4
MoState 2-4
Sam 0-5

So I agree we will have at least one other above .500, it’s far from certain. If Delaware keeps improving they will be tough by the end of the year. Not looking forward to going there to end the season. But they have Kennesaw next, who just manhandled the team that beat Delaware.

Keep in mind that Delaware lost to MTSU 33-30 with our Freshman, backup QC. If Minicucci was in there, chances are the game would have been a lot different.

True. I am less certain that Delaware would have beaten Liberty with Minicucci. That game was 30-0 until Liberty played backups on both sides of the ball the entire 4th quarter. They also ran the ball and controlled the clock a lot which would have given MInicucci less chances.

If Minicucci would have played against Liberty, the game would have been a lot better. Maybe Delaware still loses, we couldn't stop your running game. But it wouldn't have been as bad as it was.
